He will be tired this afternoon if he was behind the bar last night and then up early this morning for a photo shoot. I suppose he has to supplement his income some how - I don't know how much modelling he has done to date and whether he gets much money from that as yet.

Hmm interesting. I know he knows some of the bartenders from Eve Bar (as well as the owner and other people), I assumed it was just because he was a regular there but maybe he has been working there as well as partying there.

I guess it's a way to get some money to play the rent and go back to USA ...he did say might be going back sooner than planned, not that he had flights booked etc.

I don't think it is a "career path" - it not uncommon for people who are at uni or deciding what to do next in their life to tend bars or for creative people who can't live off their art/music/writing . It means they can earn cash and they can be doing other work/courses during the day, and it gives them more flexibility if they need/want to travel etc.. I suspect that may be what Drew is doing.
