I see Jade get VERY LITTLE nastiness. In fact, people tend to forgive and make excuses for any fault she has.
I follow her on Twitter and every person I have seen comment is kissing her ass and telling her how awesome she is.Do you follow her SM?

I just looked at her last 5 insta posts and didn't see a single negative comment. I'm sure she has gotten one here or there, but I still believe my original statement "I see Jade get VERY LITTLE nastiness".FB is and instagram comments are the worst ones. To a degree people can have some control on what is visible on their twitters. With twitter you often don't seen comments if the reply to a post is separate. However, I have seen many derogatory comments on Jade's twitter that she fights back to. She's told a number of people to unfollow her - they may have done so.
Both Ed and Jade, particularly on their own FB and each other's FBs but also on their insta (and each others instas), get some really vile comments. There are also lots of bad ones about Jade on any photo Tim posts with Jade in it. Similarly, any photo that Tully or Jade post with each other gets the same.

I suppose she got some negative comments for stalking Ed but I really can't think of anything else she got unfavorable comments for.
I had an amazing discussion with another poster about the ed thing. So this is my final thought...
Ed is confused with where he is in life IMO. Nick seems to have established himself as a person. being a twin, I would say that ed feels the pressures of feeling like he somehow failed. Nick seems to be in control a lot of the time and I do think that ed just lets him and perhaps that is due to feeling insecure as a person. The bb experience has not gone the way ed hoped. He received a lot of backlash. And not enough support. Jade had many supporters so that could give her the confidence. But ed didn't have that, it was negativity and more of it. Of course you would start doubting yourself and who you are after that. That's why I think I feel sadness for him, because he just seems so lost. Tully seemed this way to me not long ago, but lately she seems like she has picked herself up. I hope time will help ed do the same
Without inowing what happens on SM and what ed has said in the past, I always assumed it was nick that lead the way. He just seems self assured and in charge. A little bit of supporting can go a long way, I wish he had that too. But no matter, I think he needs time now and your suggestion of being away from someone that might be controlling him, is a good one. Of course this is only speculation on our parts lol. But surely even nick sees these photos of his brother and thinks he doesn't seem happy. Maybe he just doesn't understand it... Who knows? But for the first time, I kind of miss the confident edI've often wondered if Ed was more comfortable with himself when Nick lived interstate. They had lived in different parts of the country until the start of last year from when they were 18. . I do recall him saying he was shy as a kid and if Nick was doing something he felt it was ok to do it as well. There was a lot more support for Jade publicly than what we saw for Ed, it would have been good for more of his friends to comment publicly but as most are involved in football they are taught to ignore negativity on social media.

Perhaps he feels he has let them down?
I think this could well be part of the problem. With Nick around he may well feel that he needs to conform to Nick's expectations (perhaps unconsciously - he said in the diary room that Nick was his hero and he looked up to him). I think is why - with Nick living in the same apartment and living in each other's pockets constantly with no escape - he is finding life not fitting as well now that he is back and the excitement has worn off, the fuss has died down, and life has gone back to 'normal'. Ed is ready for a change- but his life is the same as before.
He did say that Milly and Nick encouraged him to try out for BB in 2012 because he was looking for something after his football career ended and they said he had nothing to lose and it could lead to other things. Perhaps he feels he has let them down?
