lol the drama you people create for yourselves. Do you not have your own lives to worry about, rather than following a bunch of has-beens on an arguably has-been television show?

Jesus.

Never mind me, won't be lurking this thread again. Was just curious as to what people could possibly have been discussing in here!

And yet you're searching for and reading this forum in the off-season (when you don't have other posters here you enjoy interacting with to bring you back like the rest of us do). You even went to the trouble to make an account just to say you won't be lurking here.

Hhmm...

"Interesting" is kinda the key word for me. Being genuinely kind and positive is usually enough to keep me from disliking a person (hence I like Jade fine), but it's not enough to make me, personally, find him or her interesting or relatable or watchable. I wish Jade success and happiness and all of that, but I can't say I'm particularly interested in her or what she's up to, and I don't feel like I'm losing/missing out because of it. Each to their own, and who has the time? I have to fake interest in enough people in my real life.

I agree with the interesting factor. Obviously I am interested in what Jade does, so follow her. But, while I detested watching Tully's antics and manipulative behaviour in the house and still don't like her, I am interested in what she is doing and whether she can get her stuff together and be relatively happy and content. So while I don't follow her on SM, I do read the updates here with interest and wish her well - she's not my cup of tea, but seems a decent person.

Hi BBBelle, (and everybody else!)

Like you I am also a lurker - I found this forum during the season last year, but couldn't sign up as my email addresses would not be accepted by the old forum's system.

I have read almost all nearly 2000 pages of this thread (lost track when it went mental after the Drully breakup article) so I feel like I know you all. I know I will get the question of why I don't chime in - I am often reading something I would add to, but it is way after the conversation has moved on, or I am on the tram or something, so not practical to try and respond.

I got your point - not that people are losers for not like Jade, more that it is their loss for not seeing Jade in a positive way.

Anyway thanks to all the wonderful people that keep this thread alive, and give us lurkers lots of entertainment!

What are these people losing by not seeing Jade in a positive way? What is not in their life because they view Jade negatively or indifferently and who has the right to define whether or not that is truly lost because they feel that way about Jade? I like Jade a lot, I don't think she is perfect but I do like her. But even if I felt indifferently towards her I don't really see what I would have lost by feeling that way.

Thanks for joining in, good to have you here.

soooo angry right now grrr

When people get calls from the Cancer Council and give their details, I have always wondered how they would know they had not been scammed. Anyone could call you claiming to be a charity and get your card details. It makes me feel bad but I am too paranoid to donate any other way than face to face. Not saying thats how it happened, just musing.

Lol sorry I wasn't too clear with what I wrote... that wasn't necessarily my opinion, just saying that was how I read bbbelle's comment!

I actually like most of the 2013 HM's, but was surprised that Jade came in second, as by the end she was the one who seemed less confident and comfortable in the house than she was at the beginning. Updates in here have at least shown me a side of Jade we didn't get to see in the house. But the same goes for Ed, Tully, and a few others :)

Thanks for the welcome!

No worries, my questions were maybe better directed at the person who had the opinion in the first place. But the fact is I don't fancy getting a snarky "Wow, getting a headache, can't read" reply like SG got.

You're welcome.

yeah Jade did appear to be more confident at the start of BB...
I think towards the end she got a lot of sympathy votes due to Ed not falling in love with her after she told he she loved him etc....plus she was the last one standing from the 'boring' group.
Jade certainly seems to be working hard now out of the house towards her career choice, and probably had time to reflect on her behaviour, and how it affected her.

She has probably had some tough reality hits outside of the house.... I would like to see Jimmy happen, if they way Tim was to her the two days he liked her in the house (presidential suite time) is anything to go by, he would treat the person he likes with respect.

Speaking of relationships, if you are ever looking for me I am often lurking near the Bailey's couch wondering what will happen in the next exciting episode of The Drully Saga :)

I actually think the opposite, and that the Ed thing lost her votes. For example, there were a number of posters on these forums who started out liking Jade but got fed up with her because of Ed and no longer supported her. I don't think just being the last one of the 'boring' group standing would have gotten her to second place - I think if that was the case she would have gone straight after Ed, not after 'cool kids' Boog, Drew and Tahan.
