I believe there is no such thing as "telling it how it is", there is only 'telling it how you see it" and there is usually a big difference between the two.

So I'm interested to know more about you mysterious Annon. Did you try out this year or ever? Have you ever put yourself out there in this way? Or are you only living vicariously through your friend? Or is your friend actually you and you got through to the next rounds?
 
Also, if by "Annon" you intended for the abbreviation of Anonymous, it would be spelt "Anon".

God I just hope that the producers select everyday people this year and stay away from actors/models, and people that already have a following. A girl I know made it to the final 150 last year and I hope she hasn't made it this year. She's been in several men's magazines and wants a singing career, she has tried out for every reality show out there, I think she even tried out for x factor this year. I think they like her because obviously she's attractive but she's also a single mum. I'm just so sick of wannabes, I want genuine, real people on the show, is that too much to ask???

Just to back that comment up.. I'd love it, if they chose some genuine people.. who don't have a "starnow" profile and a list of acting/model agencies a km long to their name.
... I mean, I get it!.. you want to be on TV.. so you got to put yourself out there and get your name in the business.
But there must be some truly genuine and out there characters.. that have just stumbled in from whoop whoop with that everyday sorta person attitude.. not necessarily in it just for the air time and a possible crack at a TV/acticin/model/radio or social media fame whore shot.
 
Just got an email from Endemol Australia looking for mixed-race families, asking about you and cousins, grandparents etc etc. Seemed harmless but because it turned up in my spam folder, the pictures weren't automatically displayed, before I allowed them to be displayed, the pictures were both called "Big Brother 2014". I'm not sure whether it does have anything to do with Big Brother, but I thought that was interesting, here's how it read:

" If you have a fantastic racially mixed family - from grandparents to cousins or nieces and nephews - who’ve linked up with partners from different backgrounds, we’d love to hear from you. - EMAIL US"
 
I got the same email.. thought nothing of it.
Just endemol looking to start up a new show.. based around multicultural families.
The only Big Brother related thing I found on that email.. was this, "You received this email as you indicated you wanted to be contacted in regards to Big Brother and other shows produced by Endemol Australia."
.. otherwise, I'd say that it has nothing to do with Big Brother at all.

...I'd love to know just how many of our members of this forum have auditioned to be a housemate on Big Brother?... there must be quite a few methinks... so Robbie and bbfan27... I guessing that you have both applied at least or am I on the wrong track here?... just curious... cheers.
 
I got that email too. I asked to be contacted by endemol in regards to any BB employment. Guess that means im interested in all their other shows too...
 
Cast and Crew for Big Brother 2014 was filled a few Months ago.

Most are returning to work it again from the past few years.


Now talking about the housemate hunt.
Last week Alex & Chris (Producers of BB) went around and did a 2nd follow up interview of the Top 150.

They are in the process of cutting down to Top 40.

Isn't phase 2 still going? I thought I read that Alex only just tweeted Wednesday that they still had Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to go. Then they would cut down to top 40??

What do you mean the cast was already filled....
 
Cast and Crew - Sonya, Mike, Goon, and Crew.

Housemates are different.

They are doing phase 2 as we speak. They have done Perth and Adelaide.

Have they finished in Melbourne? I think they're in Melbourne at the moment because I saw one of the producers tweeted they were there a couple of days ago.

Can't wait to see who they pick, I hope they get it right. Down with bimbos and actors!

Surely there are attractive and smart people they can choose from? Tahan was smart but for some reason she played the dumb card at the start. I hope we don't get another Jade, mind you , I didn't find her attractive at all.

Who actually decides who is gonna be the "ed" or the"Jade" (don't find her attractive either btw) like 1 person might find them attractive and 1 wont
