So, because Jade seemed to like what was written, I was hoping it was not going to be her giving quotes on a new boyfriend. That Jas that wrote the article is pretty much one of Jade's biggest fans that tweets her all the time so I'm not surprised she acknowledged her writing something for her. I suppose it was a nice gesture given the amount of time it would have taken.

Still though what a shit piece of writing. I understand she's just a fan and she's not in the media but it wouldn't be hard to put "sexy" into her thesaurus and come up with a few different words. It's also pretty misleading. Jade's been a Bunnies fan for a long time and was at that event because she was a Souths member...she didn't just rock up, meet those players and start following Souths that night because they were so SEXY.

It is terrible writing. The last thing Jade needs is to be presented as some pandering fool sex object available for consumption by a bunch of players in a sport that's known for it's ugly treatment of enthralled women.

Not only that but smurfette said in the JA thread that most of those players Jade was photographed with have partners. Imagine how they'd feel reading something like that? Let alone how it makes Jade look. Classic example how bad and misleading writing can take some simple photos make it sound like something it's not. The only pic that's even remotely sexual is the one with Beau Ryan's cut out, and given his comment on her picture I think it was an innocent running joke between them.

I know Jas is a devoted Jade (and Ed) fan but this sort of thing isn't a once off for her. I'm sure what she does comes from a good place but she's consistently doing a lot more harm than good to Jade. Thank God she doesn't write for an actual publication.

^ That's what confuses me with the whole Drully thing. Sometimes part of me thinks the breakup article was fake for money but Tully does do the whole "I'm so single and alone" thing very convincingly.

I personally think she does the I'm single for show and to get noticed. And she must be missing Drew just a bit.

I think I'm back on the idea that they did break up and aren't officially together but they still have a friends with benefits arrangement for when they're in the same area. As a result I think she'll keep missing Drew and seeking attention with the "I'm so alone!" stuff until she meets someone she really likes and and will give her the attention she needs for a while (either that or she'll move to Drew or get him to move to her). It's seeming less and less likely but I really wanted to see Tully learn to stand on her own two feet and learn how to be content alone for a while. I think it'd be good for her in the long run.

Just IMO.

I always thought they broke up but have a FWB going on. I also want to see Tully stand on her own two feet and I think once she does that everything else will come easy for her .

I don't think anything will ever come easy for Tully - she's a needy personality and that will always create drama for her, and make it hard for her to stand on her own in any environment.

I agree, but I think even just learning that she can enjoy doing some things even if it's on her own would help ease the anxiety and neediness a bit. It's not even just in a relationship sense. She seems to always have to have a huge group of people around her.

If she even just started doing a couple of things she loves by herself (as long as it's not drinking) it might give her a bit of peace and show her she can enjoy herself without others. Pity she doesn't have a job or money because I think Tully would really benefit from taking a long holiday by herself to reflect and spend a bit of time with Tully. Send her somewhere remote without wifi/data coverage too.
