Big Brother Canada: Season 2 Discussion [SPOILERS]

Never understood why Adel was so popular and it was nice to be proved right with this episode that he's an absolute dick head with no game at all. Kind of love though how they set up a rather cool HoH comp and then he won by simply guessing - but that just sums him up.

He's the perfect opportunity this week to take revenge on Jon for his nomination last week and strike a final 3 deal with the Gremlins. He's too stupid to take it though.
 
I know it's all part of the game and can be a bit of fun, but I'm a little annoyed how these random "twists" interferes with the gameplay.

This last one was particularly brutal when the nominees couldn't play for POV. It gave HOH way too much power and made the result predictable.

I sooo agree. It is really hard for them to play a game of strategy when the producers are introducing new rules as they go along, although people will be better prepared for next year I guess. And when one alliance is dominating because of the twists, even when you like them which I do, it gets boring and is somewhat unfair.

I was also very disappointed with Adel tonight. Calling someone out for being against their religion when even he acknowledges that this isn't true is pretty awful. Worse than Neda saying she had 'proof' of Allison's untrustworthiness when she didn't.
 
Has anyone seen this episode of Bulging Brides starring mumsy.
I didn't watch it all, it's kinda dull, but it is interesting how many contestants on these shows do the rounds on the reality tv show circuit.

i watched it from your link, agree it was dull, fast forwarded. she does look in better shape, although she looked ok to begin with, maybe just not as fit. i think she said she tried to do boot camp 3 times a week these days. she could have picked another dress, much easier

didn't she say she knocked back Survivor to be on BB?
 
Crap twist, crap result, crap HoH. Don't really like any of them now though would be funniest if Sabrina won even though she isn't that nice, but that's the least likely outcome. Wonder if they'll send someone back in the house to stir things up like last year, it could end with a whimper otherwise. Only one real power shift with the first five being brought down with the first twist.
 
I'm glad we have a group of people watching BBCAN this year that have a bit more common sense than the morons I put up with last year... That moron @SnideAsides loved the idea that the instant eviction had no veto... I think she decided to stop posting after that smackdown...
 
So I gave up, again. :( haha

I may or may not pick this series back up again... It's been a while since I've actually been able to finish an entire series of BB from anywhere TBH... I think it just got to the point where I'd either like to be on a show or be the one pushing the buttons behind the scenes...

I liked Sabrina at first but she lost me with the drama queen, crocodile tears, swearing on anything that moves etc AND the hateful direct to camera message to Jon's g'f

I'm really enjoying my first season of international bb ... I've never watched BBUS so the whole format is new to me ... I'm almost preferring this to BBAU which ends up such a popularity contest ...

I have loved the twists because I think once the HG's are so familiar with past BB's and who did what and how they won ... what strategies are best etc ... it becomes TOO much like a formula and "its week 8 so it's going to be a double" - the twists have put a spanner in the works. I was happy to see the shit hit the fan for the F5 alliance ... something needed to be done to shake that lot up

i didn't like Sabrina at the start, for a very very long time, but with the power going to the SS heads, they are making her likeable. they have made Sabs the underdog, and being the caring soul that i am, i feel sorry for her, and i shock myself, but she is the drama in the show

i was loving this format until BB interfered by giving Canada the HoH, was happy watching them battle it out without the interference, and i think it was strange seeing the F5 evicted one by one after that. the SS have now become the group they hated, and my favourite players are the ones i dislike the most

give people power and watch them abuse it

To be fair though Allison was in the house as part of a twist and won the secret Veto as part of a twist so it's all fair enough in the end. I think an "Instant Eviction" is going to end up being Canada's thing too just like the Double Evictions were Australia's thing - the HGs have been expecting it all season and though it may seem unfair as long as it's all pre-planned (which I'm sure this was) rather than dropped in to benefit a producers favourite it's fair enough.

The BBUSA format needs a bit of unpredictability - and dropping in an eviction or two during the season without a Veto is no more unfair than HGs being able to backdoor each other pretty much every week.
 
Um, omg... but @Kingston, total nude pics of Kenny have leaked online! And it's pre-beard too, which makes it even hotter. And it's actually not a bad sight. Not bad. At all.

one thing that got me about Sabrina and her meltdown ... she went and redid her makeup - at a time when Rachel had all her makeup off and was heading to bed
so even when apparently/supposedly so distraught and overwhelmed by what went on in the hot tub Sabrina still had the clues to have her makeup perfect because she KNEW she'd be making tv time ... or am I just totally cynical?

She is completely full of shit, she wants the TV time. She is a despicable liar and as fake as they come.
