There's a lot I like about the piece, but what bugs me a bit about this sort of grief criticism, or Rohan's tweets, is that we can't really know how sad someone is, or why or how deeply they sympathise, and shouldn't that kind of be the takeaway when this kind of thing happens? That we don't know another person's true fragility, so we should just try our best to be kind?
Those don't worry me, and I suspect I know which are yours, but some people have been hurt by them, which is horrible when we're just here for fun, or I am anyway.
