no I think its American but with the increase of US tv shows/movies etc it is becoming more widely used ... I've heard it used here but infrequently :)
 
I think I've heard Hump Day used probably for the last 10 years but usually online.
Spunk/y known for a few meanings, depends on how it's used
 
I did watch Ben on Tv this morning, he seems like the same character when talking to sonia when in the house lol
