Post BB - Housemate Antics 2013

My thoughts and prayers are with Caleb, his dad and entire family. I'm sure we all have horror stories from cancer in all our families. My dad had to go through a 12 hour surgery for his pancreatic cancer a couple of years back. Just an awful day all around. But my dad is doing great today. Hoping the best for his dad.

i am glad you brought your happy news in here, thanks, and that is great about your Dad :)

12 hours in surgery is an eternity when you are not the one in there

After seeing what it was he needed help with, you know I could only come up with one question, then I thought better of it and deleted it, lol. But he got tons of questions so its all good. Happy day.

Good job reminding him of this! Those wings looked so good when he made them and always wanted to know his recipe.

Tahan does something wrong, someone gets angry at her, Tahan then calls the other person a mole - this kinda seems like how Tim behaves at times.

He can be caring and sweet, but with the Jekkyl and Hyde thing I'm finding it hard to like him at the moment.

Or you can try the Jade way of doing things and just deny, deny, deny and deny some more until video footage of you uttering despicable sentiments about another housemate is shown right in front of your face. Yeah, a wholesome princess such as Jade could never say anything bad so much so that the sainthood complexion ingrained in her makes her start believing her own lies are the gospel truth.

Did Tim make criticize his own actions by making unflaterring comparisons to Tahan? Sorry but I find that hard to believe. lol Not in a million years would Timmy have that amount of self awareness.

Today out inspirational father has his surgery to remove his whole stomach so we can beat this cancer ! We love u dad more then words could ever say and I know mum is looking down on you from above giving you the strength of her as an angel to get you the through! 12 hour surgery today won't be a match for the power of positive thinking! U are the best dad a son and daughter could ever wish for. We love u and all that u do to help others. ❤️❤️

No he didn't compare his actions to Tahan's. While in the house that is how he described Tahan's conversations - doing something, then turning it on the other person when called on it. I'm saying I can see some similarities in how he described Tahan's behaviour with some of his that has appeared on his FB and Twitter.

Tim has very little self-awareness that I can see.

It's quite clever how you've used Tim's (of all people) bitchy rantings and turn it around to take potshots at Tahan, I'll give you that smurfette. :cool:

It wasn't intended as a potshot at Tahan at all - if you have taken that way then you have misinterpretted my post. It was intended to show Tim's lack of self-awareness and hippocrasy in that the behaviour that he, yes bitchily, attributed to Tahan is behaviour that he himself exhibits.

Had to look it up about Chris Hemsworth, but he was only on 1 episode of Neighbours so that doesn't count. Margot Robbie has been in 1 movie that I can name. Guy Pearce has been on both shows, but he is more known for Neighbours so that's something.

Still not as good as the former H&A actors which is what I originally said and am correct about. No matter how much people want to argue the point.

Think it's Liam Hemsworth, not Chris.

Jesse Spencer also comes to mind for me. Could throw Russell Crowe onto the pile too.

Can't believe there seems to be a tiff going on here though, especially with people saying they don't watch them. Both shows share writers and actors at times quite often. For instance Kip gamblin and Rebecca elmaloglu two previously from home & away are currently two of the main cast on neighbours.
