This is totally out of character for me but I'm coming in to bat for Drew here!! For most of that 7 weeks, Drew (apparently) had no clue about the fact that Tully and Tahlia had split... In hindsight, it's all kind of hard to believe but he was locked away from the real world for that month and a half!
My point is, Tully also had 7 weeks. All that time to consider the consequences of what went on in the house and she chose to milk it for the cream... She has used the shit out of Drew! Can anyone even begin to imagine the shitstorm that would ensue if Drew had sold his side of the story to a trashy mag?? If he had said 'I risked a lot for her'...

But you're assuming that she did it without Drew's support. And aside from the 'risked it' line, does she say anything controversial really? I think where we differ is that you don't seem to believe that Tully had genuine feelings for Drew whereas I do (however confused she was). I honestly don't get how she 'used the shit out of Drew' and I'm saying that as someone who liked Drew and Boog as housemates and didn't really care about the rest...including Tully I confess.
As I know we can have a discussion without it getting snarky, can you elaborate on how you think Tully used Drew please? I know I'm unlikely to be convinced, but I'm genuinely curious.
And can I add, he is a relationship guy. He was in several relationships, so this is not new to him. I believe he knew what he was doing. And I really think that he is aware with the magazine deal probably why he's in syd in the first place.
And may I know, if Tully doesn't want to do the magazine but the management who handles her asks her, does she have a choice?
I've had 2 glasses of wine now so please bear with me... but even though I was very vocal about never liking Tully in the house and went from kinda liking Drew to not liking him at all to liking him more in his final fortnight or so in the house: I don't think he was used. I think his peen may have got in the way of his brain at times and remember 1. he broke up with his gf without telling her he was going on BB and made her think it was simply because she was going overseas (cruel imo) and 2. he said a few times he was a bad bf.
I said well before this thread that I didn't think they'd last long but I thought they'd last longer than Jaded which may or may not be true now. But even though I do agree she maneuvered him away from key people in the house, he jumped in eyes wide open. They had crazy, often uncomfortable at times to watch chemistry but it was there. And the things like making her that little star thingie, and being so concerned about her rock... they were one of those love hard, die hard kind of couples who I'm sure we'll see pop up together somehow again thanks to [MENTION=24613]Reaper[/MENTION]. She NEEDS to be alone and start opening herself up to her fans or she'll soon be the equiv of Estelle. Drew is not some innocent puppy in all this though.

i am keeping quiet on the Drully front for a while. while i was trying to defend Tully today, as i liked her on the show, i was starting to sound like a bit of a stalker even though i haven't been looking on her SM and just getting news from here. then tonight it occured to me i hadn't been looking at any hms SM which is why i put Drews posts here, i only ever looked at hers and Drews, my bad, and sometimes Dougals
getting back to what i was saying, if you defend too much you look like a looney, if you don't contribute you are lazy, so i am in a somewhat mixed mood about how much to know about any of them since i know none of them. and i haven't been drinking which makes it worse that i am sober #

In terms of her using him...Tully needed a crux in that house and Drew was IT.... He was her self appointed house husband!!
Drew would have been more interesting without the the Drully storyline.
Tully would have been considerably less interesting without the Drully storyline... Yes, she used him to create A storyline. Did she really fall for him? I don't know... Lust, yep.

I remember ages ago when [MENTION=34034]LoveBB[/MENTION] hated me and we were 'chatting' in another thread about Ed and Drew and I said that while I hated Ed in the house and loved Drew near the end, I bet that I'd be better friends with Ed than Drew in real life. Drew is the quint smoker (not joysticks), way too cool for school kind of guy whereas Ed is very much a gentledude with chick friends which I ended up experiencing first hand. Although Drew might've missed out on a few months because of the Drully stuff, he has the world at his feet if he smartens up and takes advantage. Of course like his former mistress Tulls I have little clue what his future holds since he won't even tell his fans if he's going back to school or what but I hope he does something great. This lounging around hawking products shiat from a few of the HM's is a bit offputting and again I'll give credit to the Tahan fans from the beginning... the only one besides Despo Caleb who seems to have had a plan b with her life.
