I think TIm would have very firm ideas on what he wants any production from their trip to be about ... he'd have storylines whizzing around in his head and he can see the entertainment value in the whole Odd Couple thing ... so long as he doesn't spend the whole time scoring shots off Ben to his detriment I don't see the harm in it ... I may not like Ben but I don't think its up to Tim to hold him up for ridicule at his expense.

Tim has a very outgoing personality and a lot of stuff just rolls off him so he doesn't have a lot of empathy at times towards others' feelings ... which reflects poorly on him in the long run

If the fun is a two-way street I'm fine with that ... but once its all about Tim and Tim showing Ben's quirkiness/foibles in a poor light and leaving him open to ridicule ... well I might not like Ben but I'm not going to sit back and enjoy seeing that ...

I wish I'd said this. You've articulated my concerns but perhaps I'm underestimating Tim.

Exaggerating what? The not returning calls thing, Tim was just kidding around. Tim tweeted Ben about getting together tonight to watch a movie while he is in Brisbane for the Today show gig. Ben didn't tweet him back so Tim mentioned that, to which Ben finally tweeted "Treat them mean, keep them keen". I thought it was funny, so did Tim.

Whether they are going to get together for the movie, they never said. Hopefully we will get a pic if they do.

i think its because Tim is such a bundle of contradictions ... caring friend ... narcissist ... selfless ... selfish

One minute I see such good in him and then next he's let me down again ... and made me doubt ...
 
Man, we can't have one day of kind tweets about Tim without the critics and haters coming out of the freaking woodwork? God almighty if you don't like Tim then don't worry about the trips or whatever he is doing. I've noticed the ones who used to slag off Tully have given up from the sheer page after page after page of stuff about her.

I am NOT going to stop posting positive things about Tim in here, and I hope his other supporters don't either. And I'm feeling relieved because there are more of you than I thought. Although a couple of you seem confused as to whether you like him or not.

be honest, do you think that your liking of Tim is clouding your judgement on some things he says or does? at all? i am not saying this in a mean way

Isn't there room for ambivalence? And no-one here is a hater...don't fall into the trap of needless hyperbole. Of the people discussing Tim here, I think I'm the only one who doesn't much like Tim. Personally, I reserve hate for things that matter, like 'seen', 'done' and 'arks'.

I actually think Ben has been fairly busy and of course Tim is exaggerating! Again, part of the duelling between them. Also as he said, he never really thought Tim was actually going to take him to Graceland in the first place. In fact, when Tim left Ben's apartment, (Part 3) Ben was STILL questioning Tim...whether or not the trip would actually materialise...he also said at one point that trips like this would not be easy to organise etc,,,especially if it's being filmed.

As much as I think Tim is a smart guy, he's also one hell of a dreamer!! I seriously don't think he realises the cost involved in taking all these people overseas, to multiple countries to film their adventures for a possible TV show... If it's going to be of any decent quality, he'll at least need a cameraman, sound recorder and maybe even lighting...then someone to edit the whole thing and add music etc.

At the very hint that someone may be about to criticize Drew post after post in his favor appear. lol. So yes of course where Tim is concerned I wear rose colored glasses, but I see pages of proof that I'm not the only one wearing them.

And is there ANYONE here who says you can't wear them? No-one here has made me take mine off.
