Maybe we are now seeing the real truth - Drew, Tully and Tahlia are in a threesome love-fest of lipstick lesbianism, paid Instagram posts and small dogs. Drew is included in the first bit, clearly a lipstick lesbian.

You'll have to excuse me, until recently I never had an interest in any of this PR stuff so if anyone knows more feel free to correct me. Anyway, the PR companies usually have an allocation of 'freebies' to give out, I believe the product's company likely pays them a management fee but the idea is that the PR company will send these freebies out to bloggers etc. but there is no payment to the person receiving the freebie, just that you have to promote it in your blog or whatever (or well, in fact I don't believe you are actually contracted to do so, but if you don't the PR company isn't going to be sending you anymore freebies). You can also have direct approaches or companies who will send out freebies themselves. In this instance still the person doesn't get paid. The idea is you have got free product and the company gets exposure.

The likely reason she is getting paid is because of her involvement with Ministry of Talent, which is a division of Sweaty Betty PR. Basically from my understanding the idea of MoT is twofold - to manage and get bloggers/talent commercial deals and to influence social media with products from companies managed by Sweaty Betty PR (although I think the latter part is largely denied). Likely she is not getting paid on an individual basis (for each promo) but may be getting a salary of some sort - I don't know, from my searches a lot of what MoT really does and what being apart of the MoT team really means is not talked about and as I said I'm new to all of this stuff.

Likely most of you have nodded off to sleep and didn't really care about this one iota.

Your first paragraph is indeed correct although usually PR companies use their "closet" ie their talent will visit their showroom and grab/be hooked up with products that align with their image. But of course there are blanket mailouts of products too, usually for the lesser known brands.

As for the MoT thing, I'm still having a hard time understanding that. Tully isn't promoting her blog and didn't even continue her attempt at being a foodie past 2 days so I'm not sure why she isn't just hooked up with the main branch of Sweaty Betty. I understand why Roxy's after Tully's massive # of followers and why Tully would want the gear and cash but all of their other clients in that arm are bloggers. Why not just stick her in your main stable with other randoms? They comped other HMs this year with freebies so I almost feel like something's going to appear soon blogwise or I'm missing an obvious point here.

While being introspective, I'm really worried about Caleb. All the other HMs are doing stuff in the public eye- even Justynne tweets stuff, but I see sad Instas from
Caleb. He doesn't get invited to any events.
They are just about him and his cute dog. He never puts up photos of friends. He's going through a lot it seems with his dad sick with Cancer, his Mum died last year...
Maybe BB was wrong move for him? I honestly thought he'd be top 3, he went so early, he just seems lost. Maybe he is upset coz he didn't do so well and it's a kick in the guts. If anyone knows him please be a friend to him, something seems wrong. Hope I am wrong.

You double tap a picture to like it in the Instagram app (or you can press the Like button below the picture). If a picture of Drew comes up in Tahlia's feed and she accidentally double taps it she will "like" the picture. It's just a joke anyway, who knows what she will do. Probably just like the dog pictures.

I agree. And someone a few pages back suggested she wasn't smart. She most certainly is…and her comic timing is excellent.

Forgetting Caleb's dad for a second, I think he was affected most by how little BB did for him. He totally bought into what the other delusional HMs thought about him being the favourite to win and although I giggled a bit, I moreso died with shame when he was begging Ch 9 to put him and Matt on The Block (after this season of The Block had already been filmed and even before Matt was out of the house). I really do think he was the one who thought he'd be able to turn this one glimpse on reality tv into something big although he had nothing to back it up. To be fair, so did Tim, Jade, Tahan and even to a lesser extent a few of the others but they all had previous experience and ties to the industry. Caleb just seemed so flippin desperate from day dot that he left the house and had nothing to back it up.

As for friends - he's actually posted more pics of him and non BB friends than Jade has surprisingly. I think when we were having a few big chats about the kind of people BB attracts these days we forgot one aspect... those who were simply lonely which in turn would further push their desire for fame. And when you think of their family situations and relationships, etc it makes sense.

I do think he expected to do much better on BB and have a much higher profile when he came out... and kudos to him because he did everything he could to try to achieve that. But it didn't work out that way for him just like it hasn't for most of the others and will probably fizzle out soon for the few who still have a bit of buzz around them. The only reason I even go to his profile now and post updates is because a few of you have said you like them because honestly, they've made me sad for a couple of months now.
 
In case you wanted to know, Tully, Tahlia etc. were at Zanzibar for Birdcage. Girlthing (at QBar) also resumes on January 10 (this Friday) so I wouldn't be surprised if Tully shows up there as well (assuming she isn't going to fly back down to Melbourne for Portsea Polo).

I only care if we see Tahlia get a "I Heart Tulls" tattoo or Tully's girlfriend Lucy is there and shows us her tits again.

I actually found another pic of Lucy from that night before the article came out when I was peeking randoms on Tahlia's comments but obviously didn't feel ok posting it as she wasn't a HM. How funny this straight girl has now become such a legend.

Forgot to tell you for our future sleuthing reference... Sydney Road in Melb does indeed go to Sydney but it's an iconic road that passes through many a hipster suburb and is also where Jill Meagher was walking when she met her sad fate (RIP). Him being spotted there would be no more substantial than someone being on Oxford Street. :)
