She's copped it non-stop since she left the house. I initially had no problem with that because really, her behaviour was the catalyst for that. But now it's turned into a bunch of Drew fangirls who hate on every single thing she does. She truly can do no right by many people and it's one of the reasons I've pulled back from commenting here as much now even though I'm not even a big Tully fan and the people in here are my friends (I hope) and more importantly, sane (I think). If she posts her feelings, it's wrong. If she stops posting, people demand to know what's going on with her and Drew. If she posts a pic of her and Drew, she's rubbing it in Tahlia's face, she doesn't deserve Drew, why isn't she smiling more, why is she hunched over, why does she feel the need to be in pics with Drew at all. If she doesn't post them, she must've run back to Tahlia, she should've moved to Melbourne by now, she should've ditched her family on Xmas to spend it with Drew and then her week with Luna to go spend NYE with him, she shouldn't say this, she shouldn't wear that.

I don't doubt they go through struggles now that they're out of the house as it's not like she was ever the epitome of emotional stability and that's ignoring the long distance. But how would any of us feel knowing there are a heap of people out there - including some who purport to be fans of us and our partner - who are eagerly waiting for our relationship to fail? Even people in this thread wait for any opportunity to say they're over, she's left him, she's done this or that. FFS, people even fell for those stupid articles this week when you'd think considering their level of Drully fixation they'd be able to spot the errors right away. Hell I did and I don't even really care about those two as a couple other than hoping they're both happy (together or not) and wish them well. Two days ago people are slamming Tim for saying Drew's pussy whipped and then they somehow forget that and assume absolute rags like the DT and The Fix are right in saying they broke up a week + ago. Which is it?!

And as Drew is protective of her and every time he posts a pic of Tully the comments are flooded with horseshit from supposed fans of his, I wouldn't be surprised if they both said fuck it... let's not post anything together anymore until people find a new obsession. I'm happy she did this video. She's sent a very big message to her haters in the vein of what they do on Jimmy Kimmel as [MENTION=31931]Jo-bot[/MENTION] said. If anyone is stupid enough to try to post more shit on her page in the hope of being acknowledged, they're obviously lacking a brain. It's one and done.

For record I do agree with you 100% for most of this. The way she's copped it from the psychotic Drew fangirls, who I actually believe think they might somehow have a shot with him if Tully were out of the picture, is unbelievable. I just figure that by responding to the haters, and giving them far more attention than she gives any of the positive comments, she's just giving the haters exactly what they want...attention and acknowledgement. What would really piss them off is her ignoring them. In her position I would certainly want to fire back (hell I don't even particularly like Tully as a person but even reading some of the comments makes me want to fire off at them), but it really is just going to make the situation even worse...and it will actually make the haters happy.

Like I said, I had a laugh at the Jimmy Kimmel "Mean Tweets" concept of her video, but it really is just an encouragement for people to be nasty to get acknowledged by her. Tully gives way more attention to her haters than she does her fans, and I fear that if her fans start to notice that you'll only get attention from her if you're nasty they'll go there. Remember what happened when Drew first left the house and he was fighting with those people on Twitter? People that had originally been sending him nice comments started sending him rude ones because they realised they were the ones he was responding to. And yes, I do think these people are stupid enough to post more shit in a hope of being acknowledged. I figure you're already at that point if you're hurling abuse at someone you don't know personally anyway.

I guess I just compare the three main women from BB this year and how they've handled the haters (Mandatory Disclaimer: These are MY 3 main women... if you think someone else was a main woman then so be it)

1. Tahan - Has taken them on head to head

2. Jade - A sweet message on FB thanking those who have stood up for her with a somewhat sly dig at those hating on her

3. Tully - A sarcastic, humorous video reading out some of the ridiculous crap said to her


Tully has way more followers than the other two so addressing them one on one wouldn't be viable and she isn't as sugar and spice as Jade. I really think how all 3 of them have handled those who've harassed them is indicative and true to their personalities. Tahan will go you, Jade stays safe and sweet and Tully is the one who tries to reclaim some power and turn the joke on the haters. I think each of them handled it genuinely. If Tahan were to come out with say Jade's sweet message we'd all be wondering if she were stoned. If Jade were to try to be sarcastic or take people on, we'd think Mikkayla had hacked her account. And Tully... well neither her nor Drew could either take on every hater due to the sheer number nor pull off a sweet thank you without a sarcastic edge.

The sane people reading the comments on her account from this point forward will keep in mind how ridiculous the ones were that were read out in the video and that was the whole point. When someone takes the power from a hater and turns it on them, the hater now becomes the joke. Yeah some assholes will keep going but you're right... they're the 13 year old girls and 56 year old wackos who think if Tully disappeared they'd have a chance with Drew. We all know they don't even if Tully had never existed so now we're in on the joke with Tully.

I do agree with how those three handle the hate (and those 3 would cop more of it than any by far) is indicative of their personalities. However my point with Tully isn't so much that she's responding to the haters, but because it far outweighs the attention she gives the fans that are supportive of her. Yes Tahan argues with the haters, but for every hater she argues with she'll retweet 2 or 3 kind messages of support. Jade usually only responds to the nice people, and even when she had a dig at the haters she found a way to make it more about those that were supporting her. With Tully though, she gives way more attention to those being rude to her and pretty much ignores the nice. I'm not saying she has to do a complete 180 and retweet every freaking nice message she gets like Ben or the SS, but the hate is only going to multiply if people start to get the impression that you're only worth Tully's attention if you're being nasty to her.

Sure you weren't driving that other vehicle...? Haha...kidding :p How boring would it be if we all loved them all?! I'm at a point with Tully where almost everything she does kind of bugs me. I think it was the doggie birthday party suggestion that tipped me over the edge:rolleyes:
 
Some of you may be interested others not, but I thought it was worth talking about why she is getting paid for instagram promos. You'll have to excuse me, until recently I never had an interest in any of this PR stuff so if anyone knows more feel free to correct me. Anyway, the PR companies usually have an allocation of 'freebies' to give out, I believe the product's company likely pays them a management fee but the idea is that the PR company will send these freebies out to bloggers etc. but there is no payment to the person receiving the freebie, just that you have to promote it in your blog or whatever (or well, in fact I don't believe you are actually contracted to do so, but if you don't the PR company isn't going to be sending you anymore freebies). You can also have direct approaches or companies who will send out freebies themselves. In this instance still the person doesn't get paid. The idea is you have got free product and the company gets exposure.

The likely reason she is getting paid is because of her involvement with Ministry of Talent, which is a division of Sweaty Betty PR. Basically from my understanding the idea of MoT is twofold - to manage and get bloggers/talent commercial deals and to influence social media with products from companies managed by Sweaty Betty PR (although I think the latter part is largely denied). Likely she is not getting paid on an individual basis (for each promo) but may be getting a salary of some sort - I don't know, from my searches a lot of what MoT really does and what being apart of the MoT team really means is not talked about and as I said I'm new to all of this stuff.

Likely most of you have nodded off to sleep and didn't really care about this one iota.

Hahahaha. That's what I thought! 2014 seems a promising year for her. Hopefully things will fall into place with her life. Or maybe that's part of the bargain. Well beggars can't be choosers.

i am trying to give positive input to this thread with some sugar and spice. it might be a one night stand sort of thing but i am in a very relaxed frame of mind ATM, i have my hippy on, and i love hearing about all the hm's, bar Boogan

Also enjoyed Tully's video...fucking stupid bb edit..all we got was dramatic insane whiny Tully the whole season..where was sarcastic entertaining Tully like on the video..hope she keeps it up (actually I'd love to see the entire cast do this with the mean tweets)

Sorry but its better imo than the Tim/Ben ones....which kind of seem a bit forced..... maybe it's just me but I don't think Ben and Tim have chemistry...and I think their trip is going to be awkward as fuck...just Tim playing pranks the whole time and Ben going "oh Tim"..
