I think there's a simple answer to this... Healthy relationships require hard work; They don't just happen by accident and they are based on honesty and trust and respect and a whole lot of open communication. This showmance called Drully is based on drama and disrespect and cheating and it has been the topic of public scrutiny since before it even began. That's why I don't think it can ever turn into anything other than the in-house fling that it was... Especially since they don't live in the same town.

There, I said it.
And i wish you hadn't, especially when you really don't know what has happened. Judge not etc…this really is sanctimony dressed up as moral indignation. (I'm sorry, but I had to say it. I just wish it wasn't you.)

Not my intention to be sanctimonious...I was more referring to the public pressure they are under...gosh, it's hard enough keeping a relationship together sometimes without all that crap going on.

This sounds really silly, but thank you for qualifying what you said.

#Pickles are trending on Twitter right now.

Omg.. Jo-bot!!! Hahahahahaaa.... Maybe #talkinggreenpoo is also trending (whatever that means)!!

hughesy17 and camerashy1

ha! first time in my life i've been trendy (not sure about twitter trends but i'm sure it's all because of the pickle love in here ;) )

and now i just used the word trendy, reversing all the good that came from our pickle appreciation.

Such a dill.

I agree for the most part. It was pretty messy from the start, hard to watch. They clearly care about each other and it was quite passionate (for just friends) but there is a lot more pressure on the outside, especially long distance. I don't know if they are still together, i'm guessing yes, but i don't think it will last for all the reasons we saw in the house and adding long distance issues and that now the bb ride is slowing down and they have to go back to real life. I bet they will be great friends though.

why say they are rumours? it has been mentioned in a few articles now in the space of a week. can't be that many getting it all wrong. even Drullys twitter and insty accounts are suggesting something is up

Just to break it down so hopefully we're all on the same page:

The first article that started this nonsense was The Daily Telegraph. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/en...he-arms-of-women/story-fni0cvc9-1226794939552

In that article alone the mistakes are:

1. Drew's name

2. Expecting them to post photos of each other when they weren't even in the same state

3. Saying there was a three week break between pics when it was only two weeks

4. Saying Tully was getting close to a "mystery blonde named Lucy". The Telegraph was the same one who said she was "canoodling with Lucy" back in December and even posted the pic of Tully, RUTH and a topless Lucy under the heading "Big Brother's Tully Smyth supporting her pals for Girlthing". Unfortunately for them Tully refuted the article and that's when we learned Lucy isn't even flipping gay.

Tully Smyth ‏@ tee_smyth 17 Dec

Cannot believe my poor friends boobs made headlines. Lucy- I'm sorry! At least they're good ones?! #shesnotevengay #slownewsday

5. The Telegraph said "controversial blonde spotted passionately locking lips with a mystery lady last weekend at The Courthouse Hotel in Sydney's inner west." The article was published on January 5th so "last weekend" would refer to Friday the 27th to Sunday the 29th. Considering the only sightings we have of Tully at Tahlia's work lately - both from her and from people on social media - is on Christmas Eve, I can only assume that's the night The DT is referring to although Xmas Eve definitely wasn't a weekend and she was again with RUTH and mutual friends of Tahlia's. I'm sorry but I just don't buy that Tully would hook up with a random at the place Tahlia works, while she has a boyfriend and in front of Tahlia's best friend to boot on Xmas Eve.

As for the article today, they've gone ahead and removed the name of the pub and changed the date that Tully was supposedly pashing another chick to "last week". So now they're saying it was between Monday the 30th and Sunday the 5th as the article was published yesterday. Unfortunately Tully went to the beach house on the morning of Monday the 30th and didn't return until Jan 3 - the same day she left for Melbourne.

Whether Tully and Drew are together or not, the two articles that claim they've split up are so pathetically lacking in facts - and even worse, things that can easily be checked by merely scrolling through their social media accounts let alone this thread - I can't understand how anyone in here would be taking them seriously at all. One of the guys responsible for writing the DT column is also the guy who went after Tim a few times on Twitter and posted a pic that's 5 years old in a recent article about him. For those who are really interested in the state of Drully, shake a Magic 8 Ball or send a msg to Bongo... you'll get a more accurate answer than you will from this rubbish.

I can go to bed happy now. I'm not that concerned to be honest, but quite clearly I am easily peeved over drawing conclusions based on crap journalism and Tully's and Drew's gaps and silences. They'll let us know one way or the other when they're ready. And honestly, I don't think they're under any obligation to tell us.

I agree they are under pressure, but I think from Tullys perspective the pressure affecting her is closer to home. There seemed to be a lot more public support for them than hate. The cyber trolls are easily deleted/ blocked. They are anonymous. Tully is a social media strategist and knows how to deal with them. I got the feeling that the pressure was coming from some of her friends ( not her close friends who I believed have supported her well). This I think she could not block out. It is sad to think it would be like this and people could not move on. I remember a comment Tully made in the house about going out with her friends and hating men - which quite alarmed me at the time. It seemed very narrow minded and unhealthy attitude to me. People should be judged for who they are - not their gender. I am hoping this is not the case.
I also think there has been some manipulation in the Luna custody situation. Let's just say it seems to have been made as inconvenient as possible to allow trips away.
I am bracing myself ready to be hung drawn and quartered for these comments.

your comments are fine, and true

it seems that the lesbian community she was/is a part of is hard to break away from, they seem to stay in groups and are very close, like family. there is no way Tully could stay there if she wanted to pursue anything with Drew, but her instys are showing that maybe she isn't wanting to move away from that lifestyle

as for Drew, i don't think he wants or is willing to move away from his friends either

and that dog custody issue just massively adds to the pressure
