yeah i felt for tim. I loved boog, she was great value, but i think tim was a bit jealous that the 2 people he liked most liked each other better (drew and boogs) and when she pranked him/got him back etc everyone was laughing at him, they all thought it was great and he didn't feel like anyone was on his side...and it was over and over and over again. She was different towards him than she was the others, more brutal, and he laughed for a while but enough was enough really. And she only pranked him, and sometimes it was degrading (funny yes, but men have fragile egos). Aaaand (so many ands) i think he'd had enough by then. He could have handled it better for sure but he was such a good sport for most of the way through, and it was obvious that he was sick of being everyones "go to guy for blame" by the way he was toward mikkayla when she had a go. Tully was in a strop if drew cracked the shits over pancakes so i think it's not to much to forgive the guy a few moments of feeling sorry for himself.

I hear you loud and clear! Keep those ands coming because I felt the same way you did.

Tim has his faults, but I have no doubt he has a heart of gold. Like you, I felt for him. I honestly think he was hurt by boog. She handled Tim well, but I also remember him being upset by drew for not having his back, that no one ever did, that they were happy to blame him or make fun of just him.

Tim feels like anyone else and by the end of it he showed us that human side which for me, completed him. Like I said I'm happy to be accused of wearing the rose coloured glasses ha!

I want to agree with you about Tim, but I don't. That said, occasionally I thought he was quite sweet ;)
I didn't always like Tahan either, but damn she was authentic. And she was so ballsy…start to finish she had guts.
And yet the ultimate 'softie' Drew was my fave after the marriage sham was over. The irony is of course that Tully was probably the ultimate empath, and I'm fond of the girl, but I think she left her stoicism at the door with BB ;)

We may not agree one Tim, but I agree with you about tahan. Authentic and ballsy, start to finish.

I can honestly say - and I've said this both on the forum and privately to those sweethearts who have messaged me privately because they've been worried their anti-Tim remarks have offended me - that I truly don't get upset when people talk negatively about Tim. He opens himself up to it constantly and from what he's said, he'd rather be talked about in that way than not at all so he's getting what he asked for. Yeah he was my favourite from day one but so were a couple of others and then I picked up even more along the way while losing some of the originals. He just happened to be the one constant for me throughout the season so he always got my and my friends' votes. There are times I even agree with some of the negative stuff said about him but if I see something I disagree with, I'll pipe up but that's more for conversation sake. It's not like I can try to influence anyone to vote for him at this point. If anything, as much as I think Tim was a brilliant HM and I'm stoked he won as we'll probably never see another like him, I'm sticking around these days because I enjoy the chat from the people in here and different viewpoints even when we go way off topic. He'll be a nice memory when the next season starts but the friends I've made, including the ones in the off-season, mean a hell of a lot more than some dude on a reality show. :)

That was so lovely to read. I am addicted to the conversations here as well.

Does anyone else who is interested in the Drew/Tully scenario think its weird that she likes a lot of Tahlia's insta photos but not Drew's? I know he hasn't sent any recently but his latest ones?? I wonder how he must feel about this?? It might be just me....... meh..

When did Tim have (he's riding my coat tails) Drew's back? I'm perplexed that others were expected to have his back when he didn't have theirs. And because it's you S_G…think about Tim trying to ensure Tully's demise. She drove me nuts at the height of Drully, so I sympathise, but I question Tim's motives. They certainly didn't have to do with having Drew's his back. :)

yes, you are not alone. it's weird but then has he liked any of Tullys lately? looks like Tully and Tahlia are now civil with each other, that's good

I think Drew will survive. He knows Tully likes him…fuck the photos :)

I don't think it's weird in itself, but if it's calculated, I think that's a bit silly.

The thing for me was that Tim was made the punching bag for everyone else's mistakes or reactions. Drew was never to blame, so it does set Tim apart from the rest, because it was expected that he was the problem even when he had nothing to do with a scenario. So I look at it from that angle and not a generalised one. Though I never did say that drew should have had Tims back. I said that was Tims reasons for being upset and at that time he was being a hypocrite, I don't deny this.

Tim didn't ensure Tullys demise, she did that on her own. Tim needed tully to go because he was losing drew to her- that was obvious. But her actions were hers alone. Drew understood that Tim played the game and could separate Tim from the game. That's what I liked about drew actually. He didn't take it personally. That's just what it was, Tim playing the game, but it didn't mean he manipulated the hm's, the hm's reaction are theirs alone. That's their own fault.

Not only didn't Tim ensure Tully's demise but he wouldn't have been able to save her even if he'd wanted to (which he obviously didn't). Tully's behaviour with the over the top crying as a HM got evicted, constant whinging, oh and the fact she cheated on her partner on national TV was unredeemable. She had no shot of winning even from day dot because the public was doing everything they could to get her out. But the Tahlia scandal and Tully's behaviour outside of that just cemented it even further.

As for Drew... oh Drew. The guy who'd play both sides like a fiddle. Admitted he'd say things to light fires and then run away. Remember Jade confronting him in the bedroom? For all of his redeeming qualities, he wasn't an innocent in the whole mess and in fact instigated several issues on his own. That's when some of his fans who remained stalwarts even after the Tully/Tahlia mess started to be turned off by him. Again, people need to own their own actions and I think you're right: He didn't take it personally and in fact laughed about it often. Now that we know how the chips have fallen on the outside as far as which HMs have remained close I think it sometimes makes our memories foggy but Drew wasn't some innocent angel being manipulated by Tim. He in fact caused drama on his own when Tim was nowhere to be seen. Now he'll reap the rewards of his buddy winning as far as a trip is concerned and has a new girlfriend that the media seem somewhat interested in...I think he made out quite well.

Fair call on Tully. I still don't think Tim was a punching bag…he was rarely even nominated. Bitching behind people's backs was something all HM's did. I think Connoisseur explained it best (in my eyes), a few pages ago. You could even argue that in later weeks, Ed was the punching bag, although he was much less of a bother than Boog to Tim ;)

Yeah, I still suspect Tully's putting a lid on all things SM for some ridiculous reason to do with the ex or her other friends. The fact that Drew now posts so infrequently is also unfortunate.

I think the best thing you say here is that Drew was his own man. I'm not sure Tim would agree mind you ;)
