I agree, I think right now this is all Tim. Tims idea, Tims money, Tims work. I think once he has the finished product he plans to try and get Channel 9 to air it, already encouraging fans to tweet to Channel 9 they want to see it aired. And Channel 9 did respond and asked one fan, which trip she would rather see aired, Graceland or the jungle one. The fan chose Graceland...I would choose the jungle.

Ok, well that's interesting. The only problem I can foresee is that filming, sound and production of this kind of doco would have to be of a certain standard for it to be of any worth. It's a pretty big investment without any initial backing.

so if you voted for tim you mustn't be bright and were manipulated? I did not vote for anyone in the final, so i am not disagreeing with you because of that (in fact i made one text/vote the entire season), but a good manipulator does not get caught and It is not manipulation when you tell people what you are doing. A good manipulator does not get caught and does not advertise what is going on in their head.

He won because more people liked him, not because they were manipulated...

he did more in manipulating who got evicted and some smart people got fooled, some didn't
Tim got votes mostly because he entertained people and played the game well

how could he manipulate the public? we saw everything. You'd have to be dumb to be manipulated into voting for someone who's every word and thought was on camera.

could it be that he was entertaining?

Bingo! He was more than what I wanted in a hm. He was open about what he was doing for the most part and it was entertaining how the hms who looked into Tim's behaviour and watching them unfold the process. All he would do is be right and all of a sudden their conspiracies ran wild. I loved it

yep i can agree with you here, he is an entertainer for sure but can rub people the wrong way if they don't get him/warm to him. I certainly disliked him in the beginning but warmed to him. I think in real life he'd be a pain in the arse, a funny pain in the arse, but a pain in the arse non the less. Since i don't have to live with him though i just take everything he says with a grain of salt.

Good call. And same, I couldn't stand him at first--I mean, COULD NOT stand him--but warmed over time. But only in the sense that if he were someone I knew, I'd enjoy hanging out with him but wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Well said.

Ya get me. (When I'm not being mental.)

Tim hasn't stated either way who is paying for the adventure, he did copyright the announcement himself
I believe he either has backing or intends to shop the show and sell it afterwards

Good point there. Really hope I'm wrong and that he does have some backing but just can't talk about it yet.

This is from his Facebook page 8 hrs ago:

??Tim Dormer Awww thanks for all the support guys!! Next video coming has a really sentimental part that will make you cry where you see how much Ben and I care for each other! There's even more tears. Jan 8th we'll put it out there!! Does anyone know what's special about jan 8th

Jan 8th, 1935 is Elvis's birthday.

But it was Tahan you voted for, right? It's no secret I don't like Tim, so I wouldn't vote for him, but I thought he deserved the win because of all his machinations and manipulations ;)

Seriously? What 'grief' did Tim cop?

Tim was the scapegoat for the hms losing their shit IMO. If something went wrong or a fight erupted, tim was the blame. Some hms didn't take responsibility for their own behaviours and put it down to tim manipulating the situation.

I get you even when you're being 'mental'. You're just a big old softie ;)

I voted for tahan, that I own proudly :)

But I did vote for tim other times too.

You and I mostly agree, but I really don't see this at all. Wasn't Boog the scapegoat?

My favourite was him getting the blame from half the house for Caleb's eviction and the "mutiny" that followed lol.

he was blamed for everything by everyone. They had group discussions on how best to corner him. He was screamed at for everything and others involved remained blameless. If you don't think he copped grief from the others then we must have been watching different shows.

This is one example, Prufrock. Gemini, that was beyond laughable. I loved how Heidi tried to charge on with this, but failed miserably.

Prufrock, still need that fainting couch? :p
