@Inigo_Montoya you seem nice and intelligent, however those threads are fucked up get out whilst you can.
They are basically a 2013 version of 10's old cess pit.
Clearly some are just kids, and the twitter and social media wars they are engaging in are dangerous, and stupid.
Warning - post in either of those threads, and your going to get stuck in internet mud, and you have no idea where it will lead.

I kind of see you as the mother of the forum, you are always posting wisdom and advice. I have to admit that the "twitter wars" are very juvenile and yes I have take part in them. Now apparently people on instargram are copying post from here, it's very weird and I am honestly getting freaked out a bit.

Posters lurk and like to see the updates, photos and actual stuff from the HMs - given up now as that doesn't happen much
I have posted in the HM thread, long ago, I wish I could remove any association with it now - for it is now very creepy.
I have no idea what they are on about mostly, but I did get the gist they are fighting all over the net, not just here.
And you know what, it's disappointing they are dragging this forum through the mud..........

The post bb thread isn't too bad, kxk. I don't take it too seriously for most of it. But as a lurker or someone who comes and goes, it would be hard to keep up with everything

Although I respect your opinions on this, I think you might be exaggerating the dangers a little! Yes, there have been a few people quoted on other SM sites but I'd hardly say it's the majority of posters, nor that those people are in any more or less 'danger' than anyone who posts anything, anywhere on the Internet. I'd say posting your personal/intimate details on a forum would leave you more wide open to weirdos or potential hackers.
Also, you only just replied to one of my comments on the PostBB Antics thread a little over a week ago so I'm not sure what you mean by posting there 'long ago'? There were Appreciation Threads last year and in previous seasons. They may not have gone into the off season but many of the regular posters/fans in that 'weird new animal' have become forum buddies and often chat OT...same in the other thread. I'm sure if the Mods have an issue with either of those threads they will do something about closing them down.
I really think both of those threads are largely harmless. If there are lurkers who can't keep up with the OT chat and just want to view the HM updates, it wouldn't be too difficult to scroll through and pick out the pics and links.

Last week is a long time ago in that thread. And I am trying to remove anything I have posted - harmless stuff but I don't want to be associated with that thread and the dramas.
I have not seen the like of that JA thread before, and certainly never during 10 series around here. They would have been laughed out of town.
I appreciate you personal view - I however consider some posters there are wading in mud, and the mud is going to end up on them.
Screenshots of the thread are being reposting - I gather, plus other weird stuff.
And a lot of intervention orders these days are regarding internet slander and abuse - I don't think I'm exaggerating, I think you guys need to be very careful.
