Arsehole doesn't equate with being gay. Just because I think when you write stuff like that you're behaving like an arsehole doesn't mean I think you're gay. They teach this stuff in primary school; how is it that adults still don't get it?

According to Jade, Lucy is taking a nap. Now that the separation of the Sugar Sisters has found to be voluntary I just don't know what to think. I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment. I'll have to digest this info for a while.

You are missing the point so badly. Be creative when you insult him and don't label him with what your language suggests you think is an inferior sexual orientation. And now I'm going to the beach.

It may not be voluntary - Katie's boyfriend may have drugged her with sleeping tablets so he could see Katie with out her for a while

You are missing my point, he is an arsehole because he is an arsehole. The only thing I said is that although I think he probably isn't gay (which again I don't care either way) I think with his huge ego it would really bother him to be called gay if he considered himself straight (again my point here is his ego would take a hit, because he thinks s highly of himself, and I think anything that shines what he perceives as a negative light on him in the form of a comment directed toward him and his facade, will really bother him IMO).

In reading her past posts the last few months..many of them stated as a truth that turned out not to be...I suspect she/he isn't yet an adult.

Ed is an arsehole because he is an arsehole period ( I never said he was an arsehole because he is gay ....NEVER SAID IT ). You can step off of the cheap shots at me. Read what I wrote before you spout off.

Maybe your panties are in a knot because you thought Jade and Ed were getting married (not happening sister... LOL) Jade looks like she found a man that is actually interested in her now.

I know you are male, I assume you are young, but I have no issue with that. However, you might want to re-read this thread or your posts at least. More than once I have not said anything when you have insinuated Ed is gay. You are gleeful at the thought that he might be humiliated. How about you think about all the lurkers and posters here, some of whom might be gay and afraid of coming out, or like Ben still remember vividly homophobic taunts? What message are you sending? Words matter. Ironically, I'm quite sure that Ed, who seems to be so happily straight won't give a hang about the label. He's also old enough to be a little more secure in his own skin.

Thank you for this. I'm not sure what 'not that young' is. I would have guessed you were in your late teens or early twenties. I'm not sure how old or young that is to you.
I just want to try one last time, in the spirit of the goodwill you have shown. I'm sure you are aware that the suicide rates for gay teens is far higher than for their straight counterparts. Sometimes it's not what we say or do, but what we passively condone. Every time you snicker about Ed's discomfort at being perceived as gay, you are condoning the behaviour that makes this an insult. I know this is just a fun gossipy forum, but lots of people who don't post here read it. I joined because it seemed a lot nicer than Facebook or twitter. So being something of an elitist (I'm sure you never guessed), I'd like to think we're a bit better than other social media sites. We like clever insults as against cheap shots.
To bring this back to Big Brother…OMG! I'm sure you're well aware that Drew's my favourite. His looks and intelligence were great starting points, but for me, the highlight of the show was his friendship with Ben, who says quite openly that Drew was also his favourite. By sharing a bed with Ben in the Presidential Suite, through the laughs and kisses and hugs, Drew showed through his actions that being gay isn't an issue. Here's one of the 'cool kids' patently not caring about the sexuality of a friend. That matters a lot. Some kid watching BB took heart from that, and another one thought he needed to stop being so uptight about appearing to like that gay kid in his class. As far as I'm concerned that made Drew a standout guy.
