so lemme see ... me asking "he couldn't spring for dinner? or a date?" is being unnecessarily bitchy ... so you jump on me ... then when you read my other comments you saw the light?

how about give someone the benefit of reading a few posts, understand where they are coming from before leaping to conclusions and coming out with the bitchy accusations?!

I don't take kindly to unwarranted accusations and I WILL come out swinging in my defence and to the defence of others who are criticised for expressing their opinions

you want hate? go back to the HM's threads and get a dose of reality about what hate looks like.

THIS thread is full of people who at least have a sense of humour and do a reality check upon entering

get off your high horse and join in the fun or just plain put ME on ignore

I have a sense of humour, I've had lots of fun on this forum. I can even disagree with someone and find them incredibly funny the next moment!
l came back to you and said to you it's cool I understand, not that I agreed with you, or 'saw the light' as you say it, because I don't agree with you, but that I understood where YOU were coming from.
l'm not the one on my high horse gees, unbunch your panties and show that sense of humour you're talking about.

I don't know where people get the idea Jade is more relaxed with Tim?

He always wanted to change her and she would be too uncomfortable with him constantly breaking the rules and constantly changing it up all the time

I saw them maintaining a certain politeness with each other tbh

I definitely liked Boog for Tim - his tone and everything changed around her - it was nice to see him focus on her rather than himself for once lol

I think Tim and Boog are too similar, they would kill each other if they were in a relationship. Tim is very similar to Jade in a lot of aspects, but at the same time they have two opposite energy levels, which is good for a relationship, because you can find the perfect balance between them.

she laughs and has fun with Tim and he pushes her to go a little out of her comfort zone which is great for her
with Ed she tries to live up to his rule book persona and doesn't move from that

Yeah I can imagine how that would seem extreme to an Aussie as I'm pretty sure you don't have metal detectors or armed security guards in schools here, right? (My son hasn't started primary school here yet so I could be wrong about this.) I don't agree with teachers carrying guns - and hate the gun policy in the US 100% - but that step for them wouldn't be the massive leap that it would be here because many schools already had those elements in place. Even some primary schools had armed guards before Sandy Hook with many more installing them - or even full on police officers on campus - after that tragedy. So I can see how some would think arming the teachers as well would be the next logical step although to me it's just asking for trouble.
In this instance I'm speaking more as a teacher than as an Australian. I hated John Howard, but admired his balls after Port Arthur.

HA!! Right?! Unfortunately that's what concealed weapon permits are for. Freaked me out when I was home earlier this year and as we were waiting to be seated for dinner, a guy walked past with a damn gun tucked in his belt, under a blazer. It took me a moment to realise where I was and that he was allowed to do that. That's one thing I don't miss at all.

Yeah don't you just love it over there when your standing at a makeup counter in Macys and the lady next to you is searching through her bag and pulls out a gun and puts it on the counter, gets her wallet and then just puts the gun back in.....I go to the US twice a year and still it freaks me out...lol..

sadly reading this puts me off wanting to go ... well that and the Walmartians emails I keep getting :S

Sorry LB. I must admit, I used to think that, but in recent times, and given the fact that the NRA have made successive governments their bitch, it's an area where I am sceptical about your assessment that it's 'most Americans'. But it's you my friend, so I'm going to try to believe you :)

No, no. I did mean most Americans with half a brain, which personally I struggle to think of as "most" of the population of any given country, haha. I feel very strongly about gun control issues and hate the U.S. gun culture with a passion, which is why I don't find it a particularly funny stereotype, I guess. When we first moved here, I can't tell you how many people we met who were actually stunned to learn that neither my partner nor I had ever used a gun, let alone owned one. Just refused to believe it. Anyway, sorry to veer off the track there. Slow night is right.

I think Tim and Jade maKe great friends. They're not suited romantically though.
She's a great listener and is loyal and supportive, which Tim appreciates, and Tim brings out her fun side.
So in that sense I hope they stay friends

I have friends who have moved here from the US as a protest against the gun culture, but I promise I know enough not to stereotype everyone. That said, I must admit the failure to act over health care and guns saddens me a lot. I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear though that there are plenty of things here that make me embarrassed to be Australian sometimes. We are none of us perfect ;)

sooo why no speculation about the whereabouts of Tully and Drew tonight?
Dinner with his parents and sister perhaps? hence no photos?

OMG Tahan, stop retweeting tweens crap! This is the crap all the other HM's ignore!

@argh2222 leesa_little @tahnylew I love how Tahan is the childish one, when @auntynannon called Tahan a loser in the 1st place. LOL

Nah I think it was good that you said something. I for one am selfishly happy to hear that I wasn't the only one who felt they had to watch every single word they said about Jade for fear of pissing someone off unintentionally. In an ideal world it shouldn't be that way... at least not in this thread as it isn't an appreciation thread by any means. All of us like different HMs in here and are interested in different ones. No one should be off limits. I've just had enough run ins of fans of two HMs in particular and now that the show isn't even on anymore, I don't see any point in arguing so I'm removing myself from the equation entirely. I've adopted the same policy for Ed because wow did I have a lot to say the past 2 days but again - just not worth the grief haha

You had a lot to say about Ed? I don't believe it! :p.

I agree that this thread is for all hms to be discussed.

I will leave the topic of this alone as I don't want to drag it on. But I'm glad that you don't feel like the only one anymore :)
