Jade is her own person she made her own decisions. That is who she is. Ed did not make her that way. She was that obsessessed for the first couple months before Ed even knew it while they weren't that close. If she could fall in love with him during that time, then it's pretty clear how she acts is not a reflection of Ed's influence but her own character.

Tims confession was not a confession it was a strategic move to make sure that Ed and Jade did not become the loveable romantic couple to viewers. He had to bitch about Ed to make him look bad for Jade, or the romance might backfire on Tim's game. He was never afraid of her dobbing, he chose to bitch then on the week he decalred to us that he wanted Ed gone. Pretty obvious what he was doing all week.

Anway, Tim was an active instigator in the 4-4 group division with Jade on the opposite side when Jade-Ed were still getting closer. Tim has not cared for a long time that Jade was not buddy buddy with him. He did the same thing to Drew in the last week, tried his best to create a division between him and his other best friends making it out to be their fault. He all but washed his hands of Mikkayla the week that he wanted her gone. He did not care to be a grown up and talk to her when she put her hand out after the blow up.

Tim wanted to push them together. He wanted it to be Eds downfall, so that Ed would become less desirable to the female viewers as a taken man. He is not going ruin that by giving her caring advice. He waited until he could use it against Ed. It's not like Tim actually believes that Jade was used anyway, it's all a big game to him to make Ed especially look bad, even when he left. He even said to Drew that he wanted to stick it to Ed after the show because he lost.

I think you are dissing on Tim for playing the game. It is a credit to him to have not let his heart get in the way. It's also a credit to Jade that she played with her heart and came 2nd. People needed to take different approaches to get to $250k. He can't be faulted for it IMO. Just because he may have manipulated situations and ppl (friends or not) to secure himself doesn't mean that when he no longer needed to and was being kind that the kindness was not genuine.

I said when his defences and tactics were down his wisdom and heart came through. He gave the best advice to Ben and Mikkayla and to Jade as well when the game wasn't at the forefront of his mind. Most of the time the game needed to be played. He went in to win, he may not have won if he didn't play it. As Tahan said, "as my dad says, in a game you say sorry only when it's over".

Jade was influenced by Ed, which admittedly was largely her fault because of blinded infatuation. But, Ed blatantly tried to manipulate her, suggested she spin a web of lies to Drew to see if it came back around. Ed didn't understand her good nature, used her bed to use her, wasn't man enough to tell her straight up or simply didn't want to - he got into her bed as a game plan. That has to be the lowest of the low. It is far worse than anything Tim did. Even Jades dad could see from the other side of the world Ed was using his daughter.

And, damn straight, Ed needs it stuck to him outside of the house, because he is a player. He doesn't actually need Tim or anyone however, to make him look bad - he can in fact do that himself. While game plans can't be faulted, just for a moment consider Ed's plan and how it reveals his true personality. His game plan was to 'pretend' he was a good person. He pretended to not play the game, pretended to be the spokesman of what is moral, pretended to never throw his friends under the bus, pretended to be an honest stand up guy. He's a liar through and through. BB gave him a chance to redeem himself with the garden of Eden task, he could have stopped the charade at any point. But no, he continued to make an absolute fool out of Jade right to the end by being such a good bullshit artist and it can't be denied - he was indeed good at it, because he is well learned in the game of being a player. Ed was obsessed with Tim, and if Tim wants to rub Eds face in it, so what? Ed needs to be brought down to earth, big time. With a bit of luck it may humble him and he can learn that the public won't tolerate or be fooled by his delusions of grandeur. IMHO ;)

The hatred of Ed on this forum for months completely outweighs any bad/naughty/ thing he did or didn't allegedly do in BB. I find the hatred quite hilarious, but it's great coz it shows the nasty jealous fantasies of the same 10 or so people who write 50 posts a day! Keep it up Ed haters!

haha yeah! Have you figured out what the deal is with that painting they and their mates keep making jokes about that was in the singlet pic last night? It's some running joke and I know Nick had it when he was living with one of the guys in Freo but I can't figure out how Nikki's involved with it.

I didn't even get one! As soon as I said on here I wanted one, the bloody announcer said they had one left so I figured I had no hope. That was seriously a good deal though, even if they did inflate the RRP a bit.

I don't see it so much as opinion rather it seems like wild speculation/fantasy, which is why I thought the picture was kinder than what I had to say. And really, you are working very hard at NOT reading the context in Drew's tweet.

Could you please elaborate on what you mean by, "nasty jealous fantasies'? As it stands, it seems you are just pulling crap out of thin air. A clarification would help you be understood by readers.
And by the way, having a complete lack of respect for someone doesn't = hate.

This! I'm so sick of people not managing to find more appropriate words.
Hate is such a strong emotion…wasting it on any housemates that didn't float our boats is absurd.
