I agree with you. He even had a friend (or two?) join them for coffee and had Boog over when they could have met up in the cab on the way to the event. He doesn't seem to be acting like a guy who is smitten. I hope she's at home watching all the BB episodes to Suss him out. Her best approach would be to drop him and get to work. Focus on the career for a while, cultivate herself, and smarten the hell up, be a strong women gawddamit. (For the record, Jade is one of my favourites too btw)
Ed comes across as a doofus. He should just admit his (seeming) lack of interest and go after a girl more to his liking - I always felt he had a thing for Tahan and I suspect he's actually after someone more like her.
 
I've noticed hardly anyone on Ed's FB page is asking about Jade anymore.

As to the Tully haters/Drew lovers trolls, it's something that could potentially last for years - I've seen it with an ex American reality show star, who has been off TV for a number of years now, yet still has her fiercely loyal fans who will defend her to the end. These people (same age bracket as the Tully haters - actually i think they're mostly 40+) absolutely hate her ex-husband and bash him relentlessly. The haters of the reality star and her fans have been at war with one another on twitter and blogs for years, and I don't know when it will ever end.

I don't understand the criticism because she's selling something that belongs to her - wasn't given to her as a gift etc ... she went into the house with that dress .. wore it on eviction night ... if she can sell it good on her

Take a look at ebay properly - lots of people sell their clothes - and why should Tully be criticised for doing the same. She would probably get criticised for wearing the same dress out to a function so she is better off selling it whilst its still in fashion.

Honestly sometimes I think if she blinks someone out there will find a reason to criticise her!

Tim won $250000 and his jacket meant nothing to him - he'd already dismissed it as being anything special to him in an interview - said he would happily cut it up ... so his auctioning of the jacket is wonderful - I hope the $70000 bid is genuine and his charity benefits.

As for the freebies - they are being paraded around at the moment to various functions - the women especially are expected to dress the part - hair & makeup, shoes, dress, accessories - it would cost them a small fortune each time to go out. If they are able to get freebies in return for mentioning the label and being photographed wearing them good for them! This is not going to last forever.

A lot of celebrities are given clothes to wear by labels - they get sent stuff in the hope they will wear thema and be seen. I'd say most of the female celebrities who attend the Melbourne Cup for instance are merely coat hangers for one label or another.

I copied an online boutique the other day to a thread ... they'd taken a photo of some shorts and express mail bag and tweeted they were sending them to Jade ... when I followed the link to their online boutique they'd used photos of Jade in lingerie from her instagram account AND a photo of Drew and Tully on their store page ... this is the price of what they are doing - nothing about them at the moment is their own. That boutique owner probably didn't even ask permission to use their photos and I hope they have cottoned onto it and been able to get her to take them down. (perhaps what she did WAS legal - but ethical? I don't personally think so)

Retailers would not offer them clothes without some return expected - and for them its publicity which leads to extra sales.

This sums up how I feel perfectly. I don't see an issue with her selling her dress.

not flattering is it? the list is alphabetical but Drew is only listed as a plus1 for Tully basically ... you'd think if he were the most popular it would be Anthony Drew and Tully Smyth ...

I'd say Drew is just listed as Tullys +1 because they would have already put the list together with Sydneysiders (i.e. Tully). Drew might have gotten an invite to the Melbourne premier but they changed it when they realised he was in Sydney with Tully.

I just caught up on the magazine articles.

I'm not surprised that tully and drew have these tiffs anymore, it has just become them. I do wonder how a relationship will last based on this, but it could be the beginning stages perhaps, so until they are more so secure within themselves in this relationship, it may be on going. I have never been in a relationship like this, so not sure what to think. I was once a little like tully I admit with my bf (now husband). I had issues of my own and I carried a lot baggage from a childhood I couldn't make sense of so never felt worthy really and I questioned our relationship, questioned his devotion and love, questioned his reasonings for still putting up with me. Yeah it was messed up on my end, but he somehow broke all those defences and I just gradually stopped feeling this way and it is what it is today. I should note it was never aggressive like their relationship, nor was it constant fighting, mine were more doubts and disbelief. Ok enough of that part. It seems they are now officially a couple. I take it that way from the way the articles discussed drully. Not that it wasn't confirmed before, but if mags are recognising them as one well it makes it more so official.

The jade and ed thing. Yeah sick of it tbh, ed has had enough time to make moves, to have a discussion on where this relationship is going, to finally give jade ammunition to believe there is a relationship- but just like in the house it's blank. I'm not surprised but it is getting irritating from his end. Make a decision because jade seems like they are still unsure where they stand but is holding onto the smallest hopes that something may arise because he hasn't just told her this wont work? That's how I interpreted it anyway and I hate to say it, but it does bring up the desperate look on her end. I don't want to say it, but that's how I feel.

Not gonna to lie, every time I see tweets that go, "OMG I LOVE YOU LIKE SO MUCH! ARE YOU AND ED/JADE TOGETHER, U OWE ME AN ANSWER", I want to do a Tahan and shoot myself in the head. Hell, Mr Clooney or Greg would more likely give a response. If people wanted an answer all they have to do is tweet Ed's sister instead, who'll far more likely provide an answer. Someone asked her before but she didn't know then. No-ones asked her after she met Jade and had a talk to them.

i would say it's because the public don't know him as Anthony Drew, they know him as Drew, so when putting his real name up they put him with tully.

I was just wondering what she's done since she's been out that brings up the desperate look? In that article all she said was she's looking forward to getting to know him on the outside. Apart from that she hasn't been telling him how much she misses him on twitter, she hasn't been hanging all over him in public, she hasn't been selling her story to the media, she hasn't been going out and posting pictures of herself with other people in bids to get him jealous etc. In fact she's just been quiet on the whole thing. To me that's the opposite of desperate, so I guess I'm just confused and want to understand your perspective.

Especially when you consider the fact that Jade's pretty much just come out and proven that all of the couple-like updates that Ed posted in Melbourne were fake. If she were "desperate" wouldn't she be playing up the "couple" angel that Ed was implying with the Melbourne updates, not completely debunk it.
