Interesting response to the articles guys, but am I missing something?
I got absolutely no new information from that article other than Jade apparently didn't stay at Ed's place while she was in Melbourne. Just reinforced to me that whatever is or isn't happening they are going to try and keep it out of the public eye.

Unfortunately, Tully has her claws too deep in Drew for that to be happening.
Going back to the NW article...why do you think Maddy was their go-to person for quotes?
Oh...and I'm really not a nutter, but now I can't help wondering if people have, in fact, been reading this thread. Hmmmmm....good thing I never post anything that I wouldn't say to someone's face.

I think the biggest issue to come out of all of this was that the blatantly obvious picture Ed was trying to paint while Jade was in Melbourne turned out to be completely off the mark. Also that there is a very obvious shift in Jade's tone from when the first NW article took place (when she'd just left the house), to the TV Week one that occurred after the time in Melbourne. No they didn't come out and declare any new info (apart from letting us know that all of the Melbourne couple stuff was fake), but I personally think it's pretty easy to read between the lines on this one.
Not saying they won't have a chat in the future and decide to give a relationship a go, but at the same time the stuff we were given leading up to this that suggested to us that they were together looks to have been a ruse.

I do find it funny that he thought he could get away with acting like they are a couple in public but not working on it in private. I thought he got to know Jade well enough to know that she isn't stupid when it comes to people. She even knew that he lied about choosing her over winning BB, so he didn't have her completely snowed. What did he think was going to happen, they would make appearances, he would post cute pics of her social media, and she would think it was a relationship?
But, again, I agree, all the best for her!! Now how do we get that message to her??
I think we were just hoping that some light would be shed on what's going on to stop the speculation lol

I was teasing, hence the winkie guy. Drew is only 6'2", anyway, and really does nothing for me (except when he's with Jade), but I just had to say it since I know half this forum drools over him.
As for a nutter, I never believe some of the conspiracy and other "concealed identity" poster theories, but, man, the fact that those Melbourne pics coincided so well with this thread and can now be seen as misleading, to say the least, does make one at least go...hmmm.

I think some of you were reading too much into Jade's Melbourne visit. At no time did I ever get the impression that they were acting like a couple, rather just that Ed was making good on his promise to show her around Melbourne, and that's it. If anything, the pics of them with other people was a big clue (IMO) that nothing was going on between them.
I think it's for their own benefit that they conduct things privately.
They're just in the formative stages of what opportunities will open up for them, and they'll want to do things for their own, not as a couple. They need to rebrand themselves as Jade and Ed rather than JadEd, at least until they have things set up. That way it will increase their chances of having any sort of career develop out of this and increase its longevity. That way whatever promotions or work comes for them it will be for THEM rather than as a couple. This will also put less pressure on their relationship (if one should develop) because their work opportunities won't be contingent on it.
I think Drew and Tully have screwed themselves a little as far as that goes because even the magazines are calling them Drully, like they're not individuals anymore, whereas they were still referring to Jade and Ed separately.
I think anyone can plainly see that the 'stalker' and 'desperate' thing that BB was so keen to promote is in actuality far from the real situation (well anyone with a brain can see that anyway). Jade has not hung herself all over Ed in public, she has not given ANY information out publicly with regards to his private life, she has not made comments on his family's social media sites, in fact she's kept everything private. It's a credit to her to be honest and shows what a classy person she is.

I think that's true, to a certain extent. However, the language accompanying the pics was not always so neutral. What's more, I think we can't actually assume that he even showed her around Melbourne. Basically, they went to a series of photo ops and publicity events. And he conveniently implied that she was staying with him, since he only posted pics of her out or in his house. Things might have been read into it, but you can't tell me that he didn't want to give that impression. Certainly when he left her at the airport in Sydney, he made a big deal about them being parted, as if they WERE a couple, and would be reunited soon.
Missed the winkie. I thought Drew was 6'2, that's why I said 6'4. But then I doubted myself with the height.
The next pic we get could be a Mum and Dad introduction. lol

Surely the answer is obvious. If Jade has been quoted as saying she did not spend any time alone with Ed on her trip to Melbnourn e- enough said! There were no cameras adn they had 3 or 4 days/nights to spend alone at his place or indeed at her hotel. The fact that this did not happen, means they are NOT hooking up!!! The man has been locked up in a house with cameras for 3 months. You'd think the first thing he would want to do with a girl he is interested in, is get her alone in a room and get it on!! If this did not happen in the first week of her being out of the house (and in his own home!!) then it will never happen.
Very true. No matter what either of their intentions are when it comes to potentially having any kind of relationship in the future, I think it's best for both of them that it's cooled down now, at least in the public eye.
If they want anything sustainable coming out of this they're best to focus on their own thing at the moment, and market themselves as individuals instead of part of a showmance like Drew and Tully. I've said it before, but I certainly think Drew has screwed himself over there. Sure they might be snagging a few appearances now as a couple, but that won't hold interest forever, and I feel that Drew (unlike Tully) has more going for him in terms of potential and marketability than being one half of a showmance. He's lucky he has his degree to fall back on, but he might not want to go back to that life after this.
I think it's much better for Jade to just be doing her own stuff for now and not having any Ed stuff splashed all over social media. Especially considering she's easily the more popular half of the pairing and she'll probably get more opportunities as just Jade rather than anything she'd get as part of JadEd.
