Nah, sorry Dal, all my offline archives were made available online yonks ago and it didn't include such mundane stuff as a "post your pic" thread and never have been added to since either.

In France Transgenders people don't pay for their operations and their treatments. They go through 2 years of psychiatric and doctors evaluation , and then everything is free. Even transport for appointments and removal of hair

yay France. In a Michael Moore documentary i learned that France really helps new family's with advice and care (i'm not sure exactly what it was, long time ago and all that, but someone to come and help new mums adjust) and i thought it was wonderful. And free public health etc. France seems cool. Pastries, wine and attitude....and good health care...

and of course from lara's post great respect and support for quality of life.

I agree France sounds like an amazing place for the everyday person to live.

Yes for all that it is good, but unfortunately there is another side, not so nice. We can't ever have all we want. I like Australia a lot better :)

that's it 'sicko', what a brilliant but scary doco. Always love the US but this movie was even scarier than "columbine" because everyone gets sick, has babies etc.

i must admit since i had children i have appreciated Australia so much more. Even when life is tough, it is still better than most.
