Kruger saved her best zinger of the night for Ed, the beau of runner-up Jade pressing him to share his motivation for staying with the 23-year-old blonde beauty: "three little words ... I ... love ... cash?"
Go Sonia. A little bit of the old Gretel.

For those that missed the Tim interview on Today this morning.

Thanks for posting the Tim interview on Today this morning Kaz :)

Hope you're following them on instagram at least as while I do want them back on tv, they've been posting heaps on there today.

Yes, I have been following them on instagram. It's better than the "Cold Turkey" of yesteryear. At least we know what they're up to. Thanks Poona.

I can rule radio like Kyle Sandilands, says BB winner Tim

BIG Brother winner Tim Dormer won his way to this year's TV title by stirring the pot and pranking his housemates for the entertainment of himself and the audience. So of course he thinks he's eminently qualified to take over the radio spot of exiting Austereo shock jock Kyle Sandilands but, like Australia's biggest ego on the air, wants the station's bosses to beg him to take on the job.

The cheeky 29-year-old former Nova staffer said he "could fill the shoes of Kyle Sandilands quite well" if 2DayFM management were to consider him as a replacement for the breakfast radio star - leaving the network to join MIX FM next year.Dormer said: "I used to work for Austereo so they all know me, but they made me redundant so they'll have to come crawling back to me if they want me back."It's just the type of attitude which would fill the void left by Sandilands, with the BB winner keen to use his reality show profile to pursue a career in radio or TV. "I am a morning person and do get up with the sparrows' fart," he said, explaining his suitability for the early-to-rise role.

Ha! His own ego will eventually eat him up and spit him out... If he was THAT good at his job, NOVA wouldn't have made him 'redundant'. Tim Dormer has no boundaries, they would know this after his embarrassing shot at getting a scoop with Rhianna on the flight when she specifically refused interviews. What Tim fails to realise is that he is not suddenly in DEMAND due to winning a reality tv show. If anything, he has further tarnished his prospects. Could he be more of a tosser?! Would love to hear Kyle's response!! Haha...

I could see Tim being a good radio host, but not the best. This is why he shouldn't have won- Australia has just given him the right to expand his ego to nauseating size.

This is what BB contestants with massive egos do best... Though I've never seen the likes of this one! He really thinks he can compare himself with Kyle Sandilands... Regardless of Kyle's popularity (or lack of) he has done the hard yards and worked for the place he has on radio... Not to be replaced by some try hard, big noter who has the gaul to throw out a pathetic ultimatum to a multi-million dollar Communications company who ditched him!!

I also read something tonight about Tim perhaps working with Fifi or Jules... Now that Fifi Box has gone to morning radio, Tim seems to think he would be a good match to work with her!! What the hell?!!! Ha... It's like he's got all these options on the table and he's got to pick between them all...when in reality, he's working overtime to sell himself for any gig that's available and he lacks the experience/ professionalism to even be considered for any of these roles. It would be like Jade saying she might audition for the same role as Nicole Kidman.

Next thing we'll hear is that Tim fancies himself as a JJJ host!!! Better still... He may consider himself enough of a shock jock to take on Alan Jones or Ray Hadley!!!!! Bahahahaha!!!!

Someone...anyone...put this jerk back in the house and tell him he's still being filmed...

Some interesting tidbits from Tim on his strategy and he mentions that the audience feedback encouraged him.

In case it has been posted here is the opening.

While many of us may love to hate Big Brother contestant Tim Dormer, he obviously had what it takes to win because last night he silenced all the naysayers and walked away from the reality TV show $250,000 richer. And that's just the beginning.

Three months ago a frizzy haired, lanky loudmouth entered the house and there was a collective groan from viewers and the media. "Most annoying contestant ever" screamed the headlines. News.com.au called him a "serial show off" and said he was one of the "worst things about the show".

But we will humbly admit we were wrong because, like all good surprise packages, Dormer grew on us and he must have grown on viewers too because they saved him from countless eliminations.

So how does a pranking, opinionated pest turn the public tide towards him and win one of the country's biggest popularity contests?

I'm not so sure. There are heaps of ex-BB housemates that went on to have relatively successful radio careers.

Ryan Fitzgerald - Nova national drive
Dani Pola - Sea Fm 101.3 breakfast Show
Rachael Corbett - Triple M drive show
Chrissie Swan - mix 101.1 breakfast show
Pete Timbs Brisbane Triple M breakfast show
Todd James did host PBS Melbourne breakfast show
Jess Hardy has worked at various community radio stations
Aaron Benton - Aussie Poker Radio
Nathan Morris - Nova 93.7
Paul Dyer - Geelong KRock
Wesley Denning did some radio but now in TV production
Camilla Severi did do a lot of radio, not sure what she is up to now
Rebecca Dent and Billy Bently did a Cairns Breakfast show
Jamie McDonald is on radio in WA somewhere
Travis Keyser - Broken Hill Radio
Nathan Strempel - Life FM Adelaide
Trevor Butler - 102.9 hot tomato
Joel Scalzi- Fresh FM
Michael Beveridge - SAFM Breakfast

And there may be others I don't know about. It's a well trodden path and I don't see why Tim can't capitalise on his time in BB and do well in radio.

Oh for sure, I don't think he doesn't have what it takes to be on radio. My point is, he is putting himself in the same league as top rating announcers who have been in the game a long time...have earned their stripes to be on nationally broadcast radio segments, not just local radio broadcasts. None of the above exHM's walked into top rating slots on radio when they left the house. Why Tim thinks he is of the Kyle Sandilands calibre is beyond me.

Oh dear me.... Tim's fall from grace will be quicker than I suspected. Hope he doesn't OD on coke when it all goes pear shaped; the crash landing back to planet Earth will be spectacular.
