All the HMs get trashed. It's part of the BB experience. What about that thread about Tim last week? It's not just Jade. They all have to deal with it.

I personally prefer being a lover not a fighter but that's your prerogative. People can hate away, I don't care in the slightest anymore.

This is what I like about jade fans (yeah her fans interest me more than her)
They don't attack you for having a different opinion, they respect and agree to disagree.
I'm a Tim and Tahan fan simply for the entertainment they bring, but some of their fans scare the hell out of me

And I'm sure his fans (of which I'm actually one) would be defending him too!
Just because things are commented on as they happen doesn't mean I have to agree with the level of constant hate that applies. Some people just spew vitriol the whole fucking time and why do they even watch the show??
It's lazy and unimaginative and boring and says more about who that poster is as a person than it does the housemate they're talking about *shrugs*
I prefer reading the posts of those who consider both the good and the bad and have reasons for what they put forth and not just the same old hating for the sake of it crap that's overrunning social media of all forms! (end rant)

Cmon - there are 5 threads dedicated to purely trashing Jade on the 1st page alone
I feel she gets a disproportionate amount of hate considering her relationship with Ed isn't hurting anyone but herself, but hey, that's just my opinion. And i agree that all the HM's get trashed at one point or another, but for example, I could see why people hated Tully for what she was doing to her girlfriend. I guess people just wish she would respect herself a bit more!

Personally, I take the 'hate' with a grain of salt usually. It's just people letting off steam and a lot of them become indifferent to her soon enough. Very few people truly hate her. I'm not defending the horrible things that are said, but don't look at it as a vicious attack on Jade.

I have to say though, in regards to the Jade hate, a lot of people feel the way I do that her behavior with ed is a little disturbing. But if people really hated her the way they claim to they'd be enjoying it and laughing about it (a few do but not many) it's only that she's so likable that it's a problem...just saying
If it's meant as a vicious attack that's how I read it lol.

Yep that's right.This was not Tahan being friendly(as if ),it was a secret mission given to her by Surly(fake ,idiotic fish), to gather ammunition to bad mouth Jade.Guess what, as soon as it was over ,she was bitching and complaining (what's new?)about it to Boogs. So this is the fine specimen of human being that bb is heavily promoting in ads to win bb..

This is why I signed up this year to this forum because I got sick of the official FB page. Unfortunately, this place is starting to be like the FB page. This is probably the only thread now that we can get some mature discussion, sometime we agree to disagree which is fine by me.
Ugh... Surly as an idea this year is neither funny nor clever. Alex or whoever is behind it should give up and stay behind the scenes. What is the point of getting Tahan to do that? I can see that she loved reporting back, but honestly - why would they even do it? It's beyond lame specially at this point. There is not a chance in hell that either Jade or Ed would have believed it was genuine. And of course, it wasn't!

Just saw the Jade and Tahan video. Very interesting. She is basically acknowledging that this thing with Ed in the house could be just a fling. She knows that it might not work outside but she is willing to take a chance. I think she is quite realistic about the whole situation.

Yeah I know - they both say they need to see how it is outside. I don't think there's anything wrong with her hoping it'll work out.
I feel that people just harp on about the same thing and won't see it any differently though..
I am sure Jade and Ed know that something is up. All the housemates whilst doing the task have either asked Jade or Ed about their relationship. Tahan all of a sudden wanting to chat with them after keeping away for days except when all are together chatting. Tahan said she did a good job and they don't suspect anything. hmmmmmm
The way I see it, I think there's a difference between getting frustrated and venting/laughing about her Ed attraction, and people making up stuff up that doesn't even exist in order to further hate on her. And unfortunately more and more people are becoming lemmings and buying into the latter and painting her as something that's completely detached from anything we've seen or read on the show. The Ed stuff drives me up the wall at times (I haven't made that any secret), and I think a lot of that frustration (as it is for a lot of people) stems from the fact that we have the pleasure of seeing what Ed has said and done that Jade hasn't.
People making stuff up though is where I roll my eyes. Like when she went out to comfort Boogs on the DS last night people were saying "Oh she doesn't care, she only went out there because she's an attention seeker" or the "Jade is a nasty bitch who excluded Tahan from her group" when in reality Tahan made it very clear she didn't want to be friends with any of them and hated them to begin with.
People can feel however they want about what we're shown. Who are we to say otherwise? But when people feed the need to make stuff up to try and portray them as someone that they're clearly not after watching for 3 months then I think the hate is going over the top. I've seen nothing to tell me that Jade is nearly as bad as the person they try to make her out to be, and yet we're apparently the delusional ones for not buying into stuff that we've never even had evidence of.
I think [MENTION=31088]Insomniac[/MENTION] is right on the money. Despite what people say about us, we don't like Jade because we think she can do no wrong. She fucks up a lot (and we see all of it because she gets the most unflattering edits out of all of them), but who doesn't? At the end of the day she's a very likeable girl with a big heart and I'll never feel bad for supporting her no matter how many people tell me I should.

Clearly it's meant to give more ammunition to the "Jade is boring" narrative. See, it's not Tahan being a mean, vindictive, nasty person if Surly TOLD her to do it. Of course, the fact that she ran around and immediately talked crap about them to her little posse says everything about Tahan that you need to know.
I crack up that Ed was holding the door open to the Gold room to get rid of her. I wonder why they decided to sleep in there? And I wonder why Tahan found that "awkward", like they were doing something wrong to her.
But, boy, how could I predict what Tahan's exact behavior was going to be, not even knowing what was really go on. Either I'm a psychic or Tahan's mean girl behavior is incredibly predictable.
