That is really sad about Jades family. I wish she would talk to media about it, I want to know the reason why they wouldn't let her come. My guess is poor Tahan's mum is so upset about what Jade said they need to protect her from people like "jades family"... ~rolls eyes~

Speaking of Tahan's mum, does anyone have a link to her interview with the media about Jade? And since when does family and friends cry out to media like that?? It kinda reminds me of when Tahan goes to the diary room to 'report' everything that happens. I would like to read it.

I am going to do the same as I did last week, sadly I cant do more then that but every one will be going to Jade.

Also can I just say that the softer side of Boogs was nice. Clearly they couldnt show any of those moments because it would make her look not fun... She does not deserve to be there in the final week. Seeing how she was missing her mum I believe she would not have stayed long had she been in from the start. Yet she got a free ride.

And can I just make a comment in regards to the show last night. Sonia made a comment about Jade saying she is one of the most emotional housemates this year lets see how she bla bla bla. Ummmm, she is not?? She very rarely cried and gets emotional, I think she has been very strong and held it together wonderfully even though I know I would have cracked in her position...

Let drew and Ed fight it out for eviction.
Jade will be fine without Ed, they will be busy and excited being the last week.
If Ed goes, drew will dig his own grave with his nasty comments.

I really hope people aren't splitting their votes too in order to try and evict Drew or Ed. It will just backfire like it did the week Ben left and Jade will leave. Saving Jade will mean one of those dicks will leave anyway because I think Timmy will be fine.

There is an article about tahans mum talking about tahans cousin committing suicide in woman's day. I think given the recent loss that her emotions are still raw and hearing the comments made by jade around the same time just hurt her. I know you think she is exaggerating it, but surely some sympathy for the fact the death is still fresh.

Cousin committed suicide after finding out they have brain tumours.

The mother sold or provided stories to the press about Jade's offhand, immediately retracted comment AND the death of her cousin. Why? to gain sympathy from voters.

That's rather ruthless and in poor taste.

At the same time though, as awful as that is for her cousin, the death wasn't Jade's fault, and Tahan's mum, whether deliberate or not, rehashed Jade's comment in a way that was completely different to how it was said. Her mum said Jade said that she hoped Tahan "fell into a hole and died", but what Jade said was that if Tahan happened to fall into a hole and died she wouldn't care too much. Tahan's mum gave it a whole new meaning. Her version had Jade hoping death on Tahan, when in reality why she said was that if it happened she wouldn't care too much.

It was smart game play by Tahan's mum. She knew people were forgetting about the comment (which she took totally out of context mind you) so she used her nom as an excuse to bring it up again. Even Sonia was implying that she was reaching with it. Plus I'm not sure if I like the way she's almost parading the cousin's death in the media. I know id want to keep it quiet and grieve if it were my family, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do to win right?

I'm willing to make a deal with Jade fans. Given you were so confident that the 50% save in the last eviction is a true reflection of Jade's popularity among the voting public, I'm willing to put $500 on the line if Jade receives that percent of Save votes in this upcoming eviction again.

If she doesn't what I expect in return if for Jade fans to close this thread and direct their voting money to a worthy winner in the beautiful Miss Tahan for the last week of the series.

That's very fair [MENTION=35834]Sweet_Geek[/MENTION], but at the same time if my baby had a moment of complete sheer frustration over someone who has been making fun of her and her friends for weeks and said a comment like Jade did I'd also understand. I'd sit her down and say the comment was poor taste and she should find a more appropriate way to express her frustration, but I'd certainly understand. I'd also be extremely angry if another mother twisted what she said to try and vilify her. It goes both ways. I just don't see why Tahan's mum would be bringing her cousins death up on the show and in the media like that. It's a tragedy for their family and I personally wouldn't have handelled it that way, but that's just me.

Hell will freeze over before I vote for Tahan. In my opinion she does not deserve to win at all. So no. No deal. Plus we love Jade. Why would we close the thread if she's evicted? I know I'll keep reading and posting as long as BB is on.

1. There is one week left, its not that long, she will be just fine.
2. Ed has his own fans and family to vote for him, by splitting the votes your just putting Jade at risk!
3. Its the final week after this, there wont be time to think about being lonely. With so few people its going to be easy for them to get along. Plus all the Drew/Tim/Boogs/Tahan stuff is behind Jades back. She can hate them after.

I want her to beat Ed. I dont think there is any chance of Drew going home he has his fans and Tully's behind him. I think if people try to save both it will be Jade that goes home.

The situation was in my opinion not handled well.... It was pretty obvious Mike cut her off the way he did to stop the sympathy votes but perhaps pulling her aside and voicing their concerns BEFORE they put a camera in her face may have been a better way to handle the situation.

It did get quite a reaction and left people asking questions, she possibly told her story to get sympathy but i'd say it was more likely to get them to leave her alone and if she didn't talk it wouldn't have taken much to find out anyway. Better to speak up and put the story out there than let rumours fly.

Absolutely, but my point was more along the lines of: If you want to vote for Jade + someone else because you like them that's cool, but throwing save votes at someone you don't care about just to try and evict someone else is crazy talk at this stage.

Mate, have a read of the thread before you mouth off. We've all pretty much said we can't see her winning but we want her to beat Ed and Drew. That's always been the case for me. My winner has always been Tim and in my eyes there's nobody that deserves that win over him.

Oh okay, apologies. In your original post directed at me I was getting the distinct impression that you were trying to say that anyone who could understand what Jade said when she did was a bad mother. I immediately got on the defensive was was like "back the truck up!" because I can certainly understand what Jade said, and I also would understand it if my own daughter said something like that in that situation, and I don't think that makes me a bad mother.

I don't think Tahan's mum nominating Jade for that reason was what anyone had an issue with, but more the way she completely twisted what Jade said to give it a whole new meaning than what was said in reality. Like I said though, whether that was intentional or not I don't know.

I think we will have to agree to disagree with the "Tahan is the victim because it was one against four" line that's thrown around. I just don't buy it when I think it's very obvious why The Sugar Sisters, Jade and Mikk became close and a support network for one another to begin with. Tahan never wanted to be friends with them. She made that extremely obvious. She mocked them consistently with her own friends when they were the majority, but as Tim slowly but surely picked them all off all of a sudden the other girls were the majority and Tahan was on her own playing the "woe is me, I have nobody" card. She brought it on herself. They've all said and done mean things to one another, but I can't just forget the first half of the show and suddenly see Tahan as the innocent victim here because she ended up being on her own while the SS, Mikk and Jade still had one another. She brought it on herself.

And yes, I do find it very interesting how we can watch the same show and see things very differently

Shows us your argument's ability instead of a personal attack. Those who do charity normally do not say loud about it. I don't understand why Tahan got so much support from Australian. I'll be so disappointed if she won. My point of view is that bullying & nasty characters shouldn't be rewarded.

It doesn't matter what others say, we'll support Jade till the end. She is a kind, caring & loyal person so she deserves to be rewarded for who she is. Many of Jade's fans are kind-hearted persons & that's why we appreciate her inside beauty. Make sure you donate more than others b4 you teach them how to do charity.
