Jade/Ed's love story is facinating and intriguing

I find Jade and Ed's love story fascinating and intriguing. Jade fell in love with Ed at first sight but Ed went into the BB house wanting no distraction. However her personality and perseverance ultimately charmed him and now they are in love. It is wonderful to see real love develop rather than the showmances Tim tries to (unsuccessfully) create.

They have overcame many obstacles together to get to this far (eg. Tim and Drew's advancement). Cant wait to see their love story in the remaining episodes.

Sarcasm? I'll respond anyway.

I find their love story one sided.

Nice to see a bit of humour in the forums :) Ed and Jade will continue their romance in the house - it won't advance any further though. Ed is as committed as he is prepared to be and neither of them have a way out of it now. They have to see it through to the end - anything else would be awkward and destroy any chance of winning (not that either of them have any chance).

Actually, I take that back, if Jade suddenly woke up to herself and dumped Ed, her popularity (if she did it right) would soar.

Yeah I must say I'm not seeing anything overly mutual here. Ed is not doing anything to seem nasty to Jade at this point in the game, but I suspect that's got a lot more to do with the way he wants to come across to the public this close to the end than any love story. I suspect that once it's all over, Jade won't see him for dust. Will be happy to be proven wrong but I just don't think Ed has the same feelings for Jade as she has for him.

Is this sarcasm?

This is a joke right?

Of course it's not a joke!

JadEd is the greatest love story history has ever known. Were the Bard still alive he would have written about Jade & Ed rather than Romeo & Juliet.

Jade's struggles are inspiring. Ed's love is the purest form of love the world has ever known. They are true soul mates.

Their love alone gives hope to the world.

I suspect they will have a brief period of dating, particularly for the media events, and to 'see if it is real'. These dates will of course involve sleepovers, as a result of which Jade will become more emotionally attached, and Ed will start to realise that 'it doesnt' really work for him' in real life. Followed by a Woman's Day cover with a sad Jade and an article about what went wrong.

I've been creeping around reading this forums for a while but haven't had anything worthy of posting, so I haven't said anything. But this is hilarious. HAHAHHA

As long as Jade says & does everything Ed wants. ;)

My guess is that he might continue the charade post show for a month or so and bang the hell out of her, then once the media glare dies down dump her like yesterdays trash.

You just have to watch his reactions for example when she said she would move to Melbourne to be with him..or go anywhere. If he was interested he would have been all over it agreeing but he just mumbled something and looked away. He didnt really like her (girfriendwise) at the start and is forced to be with her now because he's out of options. He cant dump her during the show because he's "Prince Charming" and "genuine" and his image would take a blow.

Its Jade's fault. She manipulated him into this fauxmance he didnt want and will eventually have to pay the price.

That sums it up precisely. The most blatant manipulation was after he chose her to go up for eviction over Tim. I said to my son "that's it - she has him now because she will guilt him in to comforting her" .. and she did. After that there was no escape for Ed. How she can't recognise his lack of interest is beyond me. Having said that, Jade has made enough comments about how she doesn't think it will last in the real world. I do believe that she possibly understands EXACTLY where she stands and is just trying to enjoy it while she can. To Ed's credit, he isn't making her any promises, he isn't implying they'll be together outside the house, he isn't saying he can't live without her etc. He is making the best out of the situation he let himself get in to.

This forum is for 18 and over, your breaking the rules and will need to leave.
Re the topic - Ed loves Ed, Jade loves Jade - a whole lot more than she lets on, they both love themselves far too much to have tim efor anyone else. Jade sees Ed as an extension of her ego, got Ed, egos OK; Ed sees Jade as ok to lick his boots, but notice her worship doesn't seem to boost his ego, so it's of no value to him.

I'd love to know if she's playing him. She's doing all the pursuing, maybe it's a strategy.

*Gasp* Jade did no such thing! How can you say such a thing?!

Jade through her strength and perseverance allowed Ed to discover his true feelings of love from under all those false emotions of apathy and disinterest.

I think it's a beautiful love story. The effort Jade puts into doing Ed's washing shows true love.

Jade will also support Ed no matter what. I bet that even if he killed 10 people, he'd still be perfect in her eyes.

Yes, how romantic and inspiring.
