I worked with a girl in an office once 50 odd years ago, and this boy liked her very much you could see it all the time, well she said she didnt like him and would never date him, well to cut a long story short, he won , 5 kids later they are still happy.

That happens quite a lot. The guy wins the girl over. The other way around not so much.
 
Love them or hate them, Tully and Drew had a real relationship with ups and downs, disagreements and fights, moments where they gazed lovingly into each others eyes, moments where Tully was spreadeagled under Drew beneath the bedcovers....now that was a real relationship!
Compare that to Ed/Jade...no disagreements/fights, just onesided fawning, Jade all over Ed gazing ravenously into his eyes and Ed nervously averting, no Jade spreadeagled under Ed beneath the bedcovers...faux relationship.

On gut feeling, i think the real love story is Tim & Boog.
Ed & Jade is and was never a love story, just stalking by Jade.
Drew & Tully is a passing fling that will fade outside the house.

But Tim & Boog have that something, just watch how they interact.

This is the most true on Jade's part. I think she's used to getting her way & when she doesn't her ego gets bruised. Because she wore Ed down a little, she's reaffirmed her worth...which is sad.

Regardless, this is a troll thread considering the OP hasn't responded since.

You just have to watch his reactions for example when she said she would move to Melbourne to be with him..or go anywhere. If he was interested he would have been all over it agreeing but he just mumbled something and looked away. He cant dump her during the show because he's "Prince Charming" and "genuine" and his image would take a blow.

Its Jade's fault. She manipulated him into this fauxmance he didnt want and will eventually have to pay the price.

It's a showmance and both are using it for screen time now for sure. The funny thing is Jade is unaware that she would have done better had she had a showmance with Drew instread (which the producers basically gave her at the start), because Drew has the good looks vote that Josh apparently did last year. Luckily she didn't realise that and hopefully it will be to the detriment of both.
 
If Ed still had mates in the house he would be with them, but as he has no friends, he hangs out with the girl who guilted him into going out with her.

The whole thing is twisted. He put her up, directly up, not just nominated, because he felt nothing for her and didn't care that she had 'feelings' for him. He nominated her then the next week. His mates all left, and then he finally had nowhere else to go, so Jade thought she had won. But Ed's real infatuation is with hating Tim, while taking whatever comfort can be had from a passive audience that constantly validates him.

As Christy from Survivor would say, 'It's cweepy. It's cweepy.'

I agree 100% with everything you said

Watching Tim and Boog makes me realise how much of that dynamic is lacking with Ed and Jade
 
Ed is far from in love with her.

Jade is so low and desperate to not see it. She has to let it go. She is a model for Christ's sake. Models don't put themselves that low.
 
Jade is a level 4 stalker.
She needs a man to give her an identity because her self esteem is so low.
Maybe she should stop saying she is a model. All the pics I have seen of her modelling look like glamour shots she has paid for herself.

There is nothing attractive about a needy woman. Ed will get rid of her but make her feel like it is for the best.
Reminds me of Jamie and that girl a few years ago. She was a needy as Jade. Hate to tell her, the world doesn't revolve around her and her "relationship with Ed".

She is terrible and like a growth the way she is always drapped over Ed.

But the ups and downs (Especially if it is that early in a relationship) is dysfunctional, it is quite normal to experience the honeymoon period where people often over look flaws because they have rose coloured glasses on. They way people have gone about this, you would have thought she is writing his name in blood on his mirror, she has not shown overtly bizarre behaviour other then keen interest in someone in an environment where you are removed from you close interpersonal relationships.
