This is pretty much my view on it.
Whilst I'll admit Jade isn't one of my favourite HMs she's hardly at the bottom of my list. Personally I think Jade needs to develop a thicker skin and I'm not saying that to attack her I just think she'd benefit from not taking everything to heart so much. Jade was perfectly reasonable in wanting a better reason from Tim because as I said in the nominations show thread, Tim's reasons were bullshit. However how Ed hijacked the conversation and started on about how Tim and Drew betrayed Jade's trust is what pissed me off I can't stand high and mighty types. IMO Jade should have stepped in and brought the conversation back to her point rather than let Ed go off on his tangent.
Jade step in and over ride Ed???? now that would be good to see but somehow I doubt we ever will

I totally agree with you on the thicker skin thing and that's partly the reason I LOVED that she confronted Tim and Drew rather than just brushing it off as nothing cause it was totally not a valid reason for ending someone's Big Brother experience! Please. As if they would have said that if the nominations were not face to face. They would have said what they usually say about her - but what they usually say, they are too scared to say to her face because it's been downright cruel.
Having said that, I know that Ed probably should have let her lead the talk and she did for the most part but in a way it made me not mind him so much because he was defending her and has her back in the house more so than Drew, Tim or anyone who pretend to be her friend and then go off and say things behind her back. At least when Ed saved Tim instead of Jade back in the day he was honest about his reasons. + he said in front of everyone that they are closer to eachother now and obviously their relationship has changed and they're closer. He's gone up in my view in comparison to Drew and others and I didn't think he would have.

I think she only feels that Ed is the only one supporting her because if she put as much energy into Ed as she had the other housemates, it'd be a different story.
Kind of dug her own grave on that front imo
I think she put a lot of effort into her friendships with Drew and Tim(her closeness with Ed is a recent thing) and that's why she's so upset that they nominated her. Her other besties have already left.

Drew was a given but I'm not really seeing it with Tim tho, I think she tolerates him, especially after his brief brush with obsession a few weeks back.

I'm not sure of the view of JadEd in this thread but I have to agree. Jade really needs to find someone other than Ed, he isn't at all what she wants him to be.

She did lead the talk for most part, It was when Tim started back at her Ed stepped in (that's the way I saw it)
True tho, no lies.

I was not a fan of Jade at the beginning. But then I started to notice flaws, not horrible flaws, but flaws that make her a relatable person who admits they are not perfect and while she is constantly mocked for the emphasis she places on relationships, I personally find that as a good trait. I also think it was extremely bold of her to actually make a stance and ask for a better reason and not some bullshit. She is not a horrible person, and her flaws make her flawless. <3xoxo

I think her and Tahan would have gotten along much better had they been given a chance, but Jade was friends with The Queen and the Holy Spirits. I feel like she has put in much more energy into romantic relationships rather than friendship. Note that when Matthew fell through she went back in on Ed. Terrible choice of men but you gotta werk with what you've got.

Well I don't know about everyone else, but as far as I'm concerned I wish they were exes already. I don't want to see Jade hurt at all but she's a stronger woman than she realises and doesn't need that wind up Ken-doll. That's just my opinion anyway.

Yes, This ^^^^^^^^^^ she will gain strength from this I am sure.

Ed mentioned to Tim during the family lunch how highly Jade thought of him. So even in the face of Ed's anti-Tim agenda, she has obviously made it clear how much she likes Tim. I think the feeling was mutual as Tim was saying to Ed recently in the spa how he always knew there was more to Jade and that all the people that had left hadn't seen it and that Ed obviously had. He also said she is someone he would hang out with on the outside. I think the Tim obsession was just a blip in the friendship.

Tonight is evidence that Jade is quite a strong character, not affraid to bring out the issue. If anyone says Jade is just wallpaper again, tonight's episode just invalidated all of that. Game tactics do not reveal character, the tragedy behind them is people end up voting for an act not the person. I still don't know who Tim really is

All of this is why I wanted Jade to do any confronting privately. I think it too easily became about other people and Jade needed answers for herself personally, not in as a game play. If the friendships are over, she wanted to know that.
We have all been privy to Tim and Drew's rants against Jade. We know they think she's shallow, boring, stupid, and irrelevant to their enjoyment of the house. Jade doesn't know these things, she is still living under the delusion that they have some bond. When she asked for an explanation, she was asking them to confirm that the friendship is dead. She got a game answer in response, which is why I think she let Ed step in, because she didn't know where to go, AND I think she enjoyed feeling like someone had her back. She does need to toughen up and I think she's demonstrating that she is capable of pulling herself together and moving on, but we all crave support, so I can't be too hard on her for not taking the control back from Ed in that instance.
It's just unfortnate that these are the scenes that will be all most people see of her until Monday night, and it's going to cost her in votes and support. That will be a lot of lost ground she will have difficulty recovering before eviction night.
