I saw that as a mask to hide her insecurities. They really seemed to grow after Tahan did that awful impression of her. Like Jade, I wish she could see just how beautiful she really is. I think it would help her personality a lot :)
 
Hmm speaking of phobias, I have SEVERE arachnophobia. I'm not scared of their bite though - I just hate the way they look and move. Just the thought of a spider moving gives me heart palpitations! It's the same thing with crabs, although that fear is not as bad, even if that's only because I don't see them as often as I see spiders ;) But yeah, I can't even look at pictures of spiders without feeling funny. Would love it if someone could explain the psychology of that one to me!

I mostly blame Tim for the divide. He has been deliberately sowing dissension all along.

I had liked her in the beginning but she lost me about a month back. She used to join in on the fun but then she joined up with the old married couple and all her fun came to a halt. She just seemed more and more miserable each passing week. I felt bad for her with the dog. She really loves that mutt, doesn't she?

Home truths? FFS, Ed was telling her that she shouldn't trust Drew. It's like saying, I know you think you're in love, but really you're not. It was a real douchebag moment for Ed.

You are brave to say that with all the Tim supporters, :-).

Both Ed and Tim are to blame, IMO. Hopefully after they listened to Mikka's message about the division on her video, they seem to be getting on. It was nice to hear Tim reminisce about Mikka in the last lf, but lets see how long this truce will last.

Why should I be afraid of them? I think they're deluded, and can't face the truth that is there right before their eyes.

Lol, love your style... I do find that people watch their favourite HM with rosé tinted glasses. Sometimes it does make me question if we are watching the same show.. On that note good night and lovely to chat with someone who can speak their mind... :D
 
Really couldn't be bothered reading through this thread and by some posts it's not worth it, so I'll just add my 2 cents worth.

Whilst I'm hardly a fan of Mikkayla and was glad to see her go I was surprised by the boos and thought the interview was more about the other HMs than Mikkayla's time in the house. I'll also admit I teared up a bit when she was saying her goodbyes to Mr. Clooney.

Totally with you on the interview and booing front. I also got all teary with the Mr Clooney scene. Thank you for l.f. Posts, I really do appreciate it.
 
Was it just me, I got the impression that Sonia was virtually calling Mikkayla a hypocrite, when she mentioned to Mikkayla about her telling the Sugar Sisters that Tahan called them dumb. ( I thought Sonia etc were then going to show her going off at Tim for telling Boog's that Mikkayla didn't like her jokes)

But Mikkayla's response got cheers.
 
I think her time was up and she seemed to be getting a bit too (in)tense and snarky but I didn't think she got an overly generous eviction show. Live by the sword die by the sword I guess, but... it kind of seemed Ben, Tim & Tahan got almost equal billing. Ah well. She seems resilient.
 
Hahhahahaha i love Boog after tonight's show, yea the producers gave her a lot of airtime (which led to votes) but I think she's funny and deserved to stay!

It always gets worse towards the end of the series, but I think what's different now to a few years ago is the lack of fun threads besides the photoshop thread. Remember the Daily Gibberer, the calls from home thread, the housemate quotes thread, the newbie spanking thread, etc? There was one a week or two back about Sara-Marie which had potential, and the limericks thread used to fill that role on the OS years ago but hasn't really taken off here, but that's what's missing.
