phenergan was recommended to me years ago by a friend when i couldn't sleep but it made my blood feel itchy. Can you imagine all the people lining up with "rashes" at the chemist this morning haha.
now i'm going back to read about these beakers....i have no idea what i'm in for but i'm game for anything.

I do like the sound of this phenergen. My sleeping patterns are terrible at the moment.
I've been down that road of relying heavily on sleeping tablets and prescription meds for sleep (and sometimes just for functioning as well, truth be told) so I am reluctant to take anything. I don't even take panadol unless its totally dire.

Its way too fucking hot, my house is burning up. It also desperately needed cleaning, so I had a shower and in lieu of actually putting any clothes on, just proceeded to clean my whole house in the nude. I really should've had my webcam on and charged people to watch.
See I've never needed a sleeping pill as I have no problem falling asleep; not even five minutes after the lights are out I'm out as well. The only sleep related problem I have is when I don't get enough. Less than four hours and I know I'll get a migraine; was horrible when I had to pull all nighters at uni!

I am en expert at function on no sleep. I used to always go to work, drive etc without having had a single second of sleep the night before. I never felt like my cognitive skills were reduced either, although I'm sure science would suggest otherwise, especially with the driving.
I'd just cruise through with a couple of coffees.
I am jealous of your ability to go to sleep straight away Consuela! I always hated going to bed when I was a kid because it meant hours and hours of just lying there wide awake

In the same boat as you. This year my insomnia has been really bad. Phernegan does work especially with a glass of wine.
OMG! CONGRATULATIONS ON THE ANNIVERSARY!

Wine, cheese and crackers sound like a good idea. No doubt you'll also be breaking out the knob bucket later!
And I suppose I'll let you off the hook for you absence, seeing as you're busy raising the next generation and everything!

Why thank you

From here on in, whenever I get one of those "novelty" mugs/cups, I shall always refer to it as a penis beaker! (seriously WTF!?)
AM_092, el'coopo, and mutleyp whatever is starting stops now, because...

I'm the same as a rule, but when I work a night shift it simply rapes my circadian rhythm to the point of sleep confusion. I found it impossible to get more than 3 consecutive hours sleep when trying to sleep through the day and I felt exhausted to the point I could have vomited.
I can not believe how much easier it is to work nights when you actually get some sleep through the day. I was an inch off getting some temaz, but a fellow nurse recommended phenergan. Being an over the counter drug, I seriously had no faith in it being effective, how wrong I was!
I won't be using it for anything but my day sleep after a night. I don't want to build a resistance, I figure 30mg twice a month will be okay.
Happy Anniversary Monkeyface! Xo
Thanks

Thanksand happy to see i've been upgraded from ferret face to monkeyface! Things are looking up today!

I only learned what it was a couple of years ago when I was given the topic of Sleep Deprivation and Nursing for a nursing presentation.
It was super interesting to research and learn about.
