Why was Ben evicted?

That is not true. He had a lot of funny moments, and he did make the house more interesting to watch. I'd rather watch him than Ed.
 
My thoughts are:

- Tim fans are more passionate than Ben fans so are more likely to vote - just an observation from this forum alone
- Tahan topped the voting because of the "dead in the hole" comment. People who vote just watch the show. Hence the sudden influx of Tahan lovers on this forum
- Drew fans actually helped Ed by saying "Save Drew, evict Ed". It annoyed people who don't like Drew, and they went out of their way to vote for Ed
- It boiled down to Tim fans, Tahan bandwagon jumpers and Ed vs. Drew. I don't think most people even "saw" Ben as a nominee
 
It wouldn't surprise me if all the major Ben fans kicked up a storm about the SMS voting and put him back in.

My time on this forum has made me into a bit of a conspiracy theorist, and I'm even beginning to think that when the comedian story came out nine wanted him gone because when everyone figured out Justytnjjffidnnnn(etc) was an actor it was a big thing (well it was in the newspaper) that didn't work in their favor, and people thought they were rigging the show.
 
i think Ed has fooled the tweens into his fake relationship with Jade too, had he never wanted to go "on a date" with her this week, he probably would have gone.

maybe he did play his cards?

Said it before and I'll say it again-he was everything that the public like about gay men-hateful, vindictive, bitchy like Layla. Did you see that last episode and the way they treated Estelle? Ewww-stunk up the place. This Ben was kind and loving no wonder he got evicted.
 
Because Drew and Jade thought they'd try to be fucking clever and try to get rid of Tahan by putting her up against Ben. That backfired worse than our voting for Drew to get rid of Ed plan.

The show helped a little, half an hour of the DS set aside to make Ed look as good as possible. Complete with lines fed to him by production. Could you imagine that date if he wasn't given a task. 30 minutes of dead air.

No but its a build up, Ed has NO interest in her! he's playing her now as he's so close to the end.

People who are really homophobic won't care about personality; just that the person is gay. I know someone who hates Ellen Degeneres just because she's a lesbian. There's literally no other reason to hate Ellen. Unless you want to make the case that Australia has gone backwards since last year? We do have Tony Abbott as our PM...
