The truth about Drew
Veronica spills about the most painful time of her life.
She has revealed Drew dumped her 2 weeks before he entered the house.
"he obviously knew about BB at the time but the plan was to see what happens when I get back from overseas. The next
3 months were going to make or break us. It broke us"
Veronica is in Brazil and has been getting updates from friends and family, with each update she didnt think it could get any
worse. "Ive heard enough to know he's not being the Drew I know"
Veronica says a reunion is definitely not on the cards.
"I have nothing to say to him. I'm just disappointed in the way he has handled everything and the person he is portraying himself as"

What the?

What the?

Why the confusion? I thought it was plain ... from her standpoint. Drew lied to her about going into the BB house. She thought they were on a break because of her overseas trip. I'm not surprised that Drew just "forgot" that detail about being a BB HM. Oops. Drew's behavior with a taken female (Tully) is less than stellar, but each to their own about that. The HM are all so young. They are learning. ALL of them and they will have to live with their choices. JMO

Oh, see I didn't get quite clearly from the quote that he didn't tell her about BB. But...dumped is dumped, I guess? It sucks if she had expectations, but her talking to NW about it suggests to me that they both kind of dodged a bullet with each other.

Right? Well, I guess this confirms his taste is for drama queens.

Agreed. She wanted to go overseas, so she should be understand of this BB thing..it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. Maybe it was a shitty move, I don't know their story, but to talk to NW and paint him as this asshole is definitely a drama queen move.

Maybe because he is an arsehole? Even Jade realises that now!

My, you have changed mikidiki!

I'm not saying Drew is or isn't a good guy, but NW is the shittiest publication there is. Their journalism practices are very low, so take everything they say with a grain of salt.

Lets not forget that this "realiable source" comes from NW the same people that said Tahlia was going to enter the big brother house haha

Who is Veronica? I thought his ex's name was Maddie?

haha its not me:) but I'm sure that Drew mentioned a Veronica during the counting sheep task with Jade, where they spent an hour talking together...I think it was some longer version I saw somewhere, not on TV.
I guess if they broke up realising it wasn't working after a while of being together, plus with her going overseas. He wouldn't tell her about BB because she might spill the beans early, or he didn't find out closer to the time that he actually made in it? how much warning to HM's get before they appear on the show?

Found this part interesting:

Nevertheless, when she was finally evicted on September 23, 1.2 million viewers tuned in. She was also given the option of skipping the live interview with host Sonia Kruger.

"The guys at Big Brother and Channel 9 have a duty of care to me and they were really concerned about my wellbeing," says the 25-year-old social media strategist/journalist/presenter/model.

"I'd been dumped by my partner while living in the house and there had been a lot of backlash. They left it up to me whether I wanted to talk but I decided to face the music because I knew that I would have to do it eventually."

So they offered for her to skip going on stage altogether. I get duty of care, but what a bunch of softcocks.

No, I thought it was good that they cared enough about her well-being to offer her that choice. But good on her for going out there and facing the crowd.

Well she didn't let it get to her. She was bloody smooth in her eviction interview. Very articulate and pretty much the Tully I had hoped we'd get in the house but sadly didn't.
