What on earth is your problem? Most of us have already apologised for misreading that LF and assuming they were referring to "bury" as part of the game.

I know you apologised and I have nothing against you. I am sorry and value your opinion.
I worded it badly and have it changed it.
Im just using a example of Anti-Tahan fans making similiar comments on Pro-Tahan fans.

Im not talking about people making a misinterpretation, just those that tell other people not to when doing so themselves.
Anyone can do it but I dont like it when Mikkayla fans tell Tahan fans who do the same thing and be hypocritical about it.

Tahan thinks other people should not be bothered by what she says .. Tully and others had to talk to her about how what she says is rude. It's two different situations. If Jade had a history of doing this it would be one thing, but she doesn't. It's out of character for her. She's been lovely and just lost it for a minute. I agree Tahan wasn't even talking about them ... Mikka took it too far and Jade didn't know that. Jade is used to Tahan being rude to her friends so she just assumed Tahan was doing it again.

yeah, I don't think jade's comment makes her a nasty person and I totally understand why most of the girls in the house hate tahan. I just see so many similarities with this situation and how everyone jumped on tahan for not being genuine after lying about voting for justin even though she's pretty honest 99% of the time. I agree with you that a few out of character moments don't change who you are in general.

I'd be interested to hear what your idea of "owning it" entails. Not having a go, I'm just genuinely curious. To me if someone apologies that is pretty much the definition of "owning it" because by apologising you're taking responsibility for something you've done and saying sorry. She didn't have to apologise. Mikkayla didn't and it would have been easier for Jade to just agree with what Mikkayla was saying. But she didn't...she apologised...so I'm not really sure how she has hasn't "owned it".

Since this thread is about Tahan I should probably also point out that nobody in the house, especially Tahan ever own their actions. Her backtracking after the "God help the children" comment about Lucy was the worst I've seen. Not only did she not apologise but she kept going around in circles and backtracking on what she said.

And in the end your left with one point, jade hates Tahan, so does mikk, we have seen the mikk/tahan relationship and can kind of understand what is happening there.

But why does Jade hate tahan? Rarely see them interact, nothing much ever between them - except Ed, and Tahan is smart and figured out Jade was a fake bride, and Tahan undermines Jade's gameplan.

Oh, and another thing to debate - occurred to me when I was away for a few days on hols & going swimming.
All those girls spend most of their day trying to emulate Tahan's skin tone; thus they mostly lay about.
Tahan is elsewhere, doing stuff, or sometimes sitting in the shade, or being naughty with Tim.

Tahan just makes them fell inferior by breathing, makes them look lazy. And there has always been a divide just from sunbaking.

They are all losing it in there, getting very edgy/claustrophobic, bet they want to scream and run out of there.

Nicely observed. It's all about envy, not only by the chicas in the house, but also by the thousands of roasting frumps in the sand who turn into lobsters within an hour, which gives them even more reason to hate Tahan. Losers.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree, because none of us will ever know for sure. To me an apology is an apology. I didn't see it as her just apologising because she was caught. Like I said, Mikkayla was "caught" too and just disregarded the issue. Jade had a perfect opportunity to do the same but she didn't. And I honestly don't think she knew what it was about until Tahan confronted them and reminded her. Earlier in the day she was alone with Mikkayla in the backyard and she genuinely didn't seem to know what Tahan wanted to talk to her about. Also the thing with Drew happened after the confrontation where she was reminded of the comment.

That's just the way I saw it anyway so I'll bow out because I think this issue has already been turned into a huge over-reation and I don't want to further fuel it

I think Mikkayla wanted to try and discard the issue because she started the bitchfeast in the kitchen against Tahan by mentioning what she thought she overheard in the bathroom, and said she would kick dirt over the hole where Tahan seemed to be more focussed at asking Jade about it...maybe she thought Jade would give her the correct answer, where she expected that kind of behaviour from Mikkayla? Mikkayla may have been worried Tahan would find out the full story?
I think Drew wasn't exactly sure who told Tahan apart (from himself) which he told Jade when questioned but because Jade was so intent that she was the one getting the whole blame, he didn't know if it was Boog, like Jade wondered. Where he told Tahan about Mikkayla overhearing Tahan and Tim talking in the bathroom, and then he mentioned about Jade and Mikkayla, saying hope Tahan falls in a hole and dies, and covering it with dirt etc. He was talking more about the chain of events.
Jade was angry that's why she said it in the first place. I bet Jade was still annoyed at finding out that Tahan had nominated Ed but she couldnt say anything plus she would be upset that he was still nominated even after her superpower.
I think HM's and public know she doesnt' actually want Tahan to die, and Mikkyla doesnt want to cover her up with dirt.

I know jade doesn't mean what she had said. I also do think jade is a nice girl. I have said many times now that what jade said was completely out of character and I do put that down to her being close to mikkayla and buying into the bitchfest between tahan and mikkaylas love hate relationship.

I just changed my mind not long ago and tahan became my favourite. Jade just lost that bit of sparkle for me I guess. In hindsight yes perhaps this tahan mikk jade thing was a huge over reaction, but like all humans, people react to the moment and later will reflect. I still think the comments made by the girls should not have been said though.

I still can't believe this is a thing. I could understand if Jade said she wanted Tahan dead then left it at that and waited until confronted to appologize .. but she IMMEDIATELY said "No" then said how she doesn't mean that and she would not want her to be dead.

I feel bad for Tahan, but I also felt bad for all these other girls that Tahan made cry after she bullied them. Jade's comment wasn't even meant to hurt Tahan .. it was just talking about her after hearing Tahan had been talking about them AGAIN.

But isn't that exactly what Mikka said Tahan does? Say something then immediately say "I'm joking" or "I didn't mean that"? So how is it any different?

Tully is the most beautiful female HM but Tahan is second. Tahan has very nice features, especially her hair and her skin colour. She clearly takes good care of her health and appearance.

If you've never heard the type of comment Jade made from anybody then you might not get out enough. You don't have to be friends with somebody to hear it. You can overhear this stuff in every day conversation. If you don't know when it's acceptable then perhaps you are the one who is socially inept. You shouldn't need it explained to you.

They are all being polite to each other, which is just what they apparently have always wanted, for Tahan to learn some manners and be nice to them, and as soon as she leaves Mikkayla says 'So fake..' or something, and they bitch about what a fake bitch Tahan is.

I think the evictions of strong personalities in the house (Matt, Tully & Caleb) has gone to Makkayla's head, taking that misfits tag to whole new levels. She's actually reminding me of Heidi at the moment, it time to tone the bitchiness down.
