Mikkayla is the last underdog remaining and I hope she stays. She has a strong personality and geuninely cares for other people's feelings. She is observant about the house dynamics which is the same as what makes Tim and Ben fun to watch.
She has been fighting a rigged battle from the start. Everyone else in the current house has gotten lengthy montages and much more screen time than Mikkayla. If they can dedicate prime time to boring Ed, surely they can do the same for her!
Just some things that come to mind:
- In one of the early nominations, she got singled out by Sonia for being bossy in front of the studio audience. Sonia did not talk about any other HM even though Matthew was also nominated for being bossy.
- She is the cat, but always implied that she should not have made it this far because they always show Tahan and Tully bitching about her being saved.
- She "hates being asian" was taken out of context. They edit out the part where Mikkayla was adopted and grew up in a small white community!
- Tahan being horrible to Mikkayla is overlooked but Mikkayla bitching about Tahan afterwards is highlighted. When Tahan impersonated her eating and calling Mikkayla fat, we only saw Mikkayla's bitchy reaction. It wasn't until much later that we were shown what Tahan did.
- She seems to get questions from BB just to give her a hard time. eg, She was asked in the diary room "why do you think you were nominated?" when everyone else got the fun questions. On an eviction night, Sonia asked her in front of everyone, "who do you think will be evicted?".
- I rarely see footage of her in the diary room which is a shame because she usually reveals a lot about the dynamics of the house when she nominates.
