Drew is a scumbag

Well marksman.. if so why is she still talking as if she is with her girlfriend still? Well it is the norm to at least tell the other person. She can't but she could say she is in love with Drew or something. Instead she is still talking as if she is a couple while drooling all over Drew (and he over her)

It's important to consider the context. For all we know, Tully could have never cheated throughout her whole life and wouldn't ever have cheated if she hadn't gone on Big Brother. I don't want go over this again because I'm tired but I'm just suggesting that you imagine it from her point of view: she's an overly emotional person who is highly dependent on other people as support. She goes into a house with a bunch of strangers, leaving her friends, family, and gf behind. She becomes close to Drew and eventually enters the realm of emotional cheating. She knows what she's doing is wrong but she doesn't have the emotional capacity to 'survive' on her own in there, so she tells herself that it'll be ok - Tahlia will understand.

Big Brother is very different from real life. It doesn't excuse her behaviour but it explains it.

In other words she is in an affair fog and lying to herself. She probably doesn't realize the severity of her actions yet but it doesn't justify the cheating.

Tully could have taken emotional support from one of the women or Ben so there wouldn't have been any issues of it becoming cheating. Yet she knowingly chose a red blooded hetero male who has only one goal. We all know what that is.

I'm aware that Aussies/Brits etc. are more relaxed than Americans but maybe it doesn't always transfer through written form in an international public forum. I get misunderstood all the time even on this forum. You can try it go to a lesbian forum and start calling them rugmunchers and see how long it takes for you to get permabanned. :)
 
It sucks being a 28 year old, white, heterosexual male, who is in good shape and earns a very decent wage, there is so much to insult about me.

It's clear that he didn't intend for this too happen and it just developed once they became good friends. She has mentioned how coming into this house has questioned her sexuality and whether she really is interested in men. She has mentioned she loves him, is constantly around him, is incredibly clingy and affectionate, and rarely mentions her outside girlfriend. Drew gives back the same as she gives out, but he is hardly a scumbag for making a bad choice.

It actually wouldn't have been that sinple for Tully to have broken it of, give their situation, but anyway...

Why do you care so much? Yes, these two people playing this game are having a holiday romance. That is true. We all see it. One of the people had a partner before they went in. She is cheating. It hurts, it sucks, it happens everyday. Why do you care?

It is not as if this happened and everyone thinks it is cool now to cheat on your partner. They are being publicly pilloried for it. Why do people care so much, to feel a need to make other people hate them?

Is it a fear of infidelity entering the public consciousness, or of it entering their own lives - or maybe it is people who deep down know they feel the urge to cheat, and doth protest too much in an effort to retrain that dark passenger. Oh. More uninformed psychoanalyzing. Sorry. Actually, no, I love reading other peoples' pop psycho-analyzing, I even like re-reading my own, when people quote it saying they agree. Narcissistically satisfying. Oh, off top

Exactly! I agree 100%, I wouldn't label drew a scumbag, dumb yes but not a scum bag. Tully is a manipulative little bitch and unfortunately drew although book smart is not so emotionally educated and has become a complete door mat! He's obviously one of those people who mould into whatever to please they're partner, we all know one "oh yes I love xyz too" wake up drew!

He's a scumbag because he knowingly chose to engage in actions that he knew would deeply hurt another living person or persons. Don't give that "just happened" bullshit to me you're not talking to a child. Maybe you prefer another word for him, how about piece of sh*t, POS in short?

I have to giggle. I, in my intellectual and wise brillance (please note, this is a piss take on myself) was pondering the situation of Tully and Drew on the train ride home last night and thought they were being pilloried.

Then I thought what a weird word pillory is...

And now I see your post... Well done Sir, I tip my hat :)

I have just learned a new word. This forum is quite instructive.

I spend far too much time here though. Last night I dreamed I was friends with Tully and Drew, and we went to the charity bins to find some clothes, lol. Drew chose a pair of pants full of holes and I found them so cool. Yes, definitively far too much time here
