The bitching she's done has been very high school, and if others had joined in, then yes, it had the potential to become a bullying situation - except that no one has joined in. No one was laughing along with her imitation of Mikkayla, they all made it pretty clear they didn't agree with it. In a different series, with different housemates, she could have been a hate figure, but in this series she's been rendered benign by the other housemates' refusal to join in her bitching.

Mikkayla, on the other hand, does have a support group around her, she's not isolated, she's perfectly capable of sticking up for herself, and she's no angel herself. It isn't a battle of powerful against powerless, it's a battle of equals, or if anything, Mikkayla has the upper hand.

It makes me laugh sometimes when the word Bullying is used. If Tahan is a bully, I don't know anyone in my circle of friends who isn't. I am not a mean person, but yes I bitch and throw tantrums sometimes in frustration. I would probably behave the same way Tahan does in the house. The HMs are not friends to start with, but have to live together, so yes, they will be fights, and make up, that's life. Tahan and Mikkayla clash sometimes but they are not enemies. They both screamed and made up.

If we use the word BULLY for any little matters it won't mean anything anymore

Making fun of the way someone looks or the way they eat is bullying. How can it not be??
If i hassled a fat person at work it would be bullying

In my workplace if Tahan pulled the crap with the fat jokes and imitations she would be up on harrasment and bullying charges.

To call it normal is horrible

In my workplace if Tahan pulled the crap with the fat jokes and imitations she would be up on harrasment and bullying charges.

To call it normal is horrible.

I guess she isnt doing it to Mikalyas face, so technically people here are right sadly.
Maybe a better term would be disgusting, vapid, low life scum behaviour?

Agreed. And what makes it worse is they had just had a discussion about eating disorders and mikkayla opened up about those issues she had/has. So that was pretty cruel. I don't know how anyone can think otherwise.

And some workplaces would encourage the fat shit, most fashion houses, model agencies, shops, actually heaps would be just fine with fat insults.

However Mikkayala would be sacked for racial vilification if she told racist jokes, and made fun of Asians.
She constantly calls Tahan dumb, I would far prefer to be called fat rather than dumb..........................both are insulting each other but it's not bullying.

Shit my family bullied me my whole childhood.............how did I survive.
They picked on how I eat, and they picked over my entire being, physical and otherwise.

I really hate how people use that to try and win an argument.
It doesnt matter how you might act, it doesnt matter how i might act.
 
My take is this: call Tahan a bully/bitch/nasty all you want. She does have a bit of that in her. BUT don't then turn around and paint Mikkayla as just a victim. She gives as good as she gets. That fight on LNF Tahan screamed "no one likes your voice" and Mikk screamed back "Well no one likes YOU." They were just as loud as each other. Only difference is that Mikk has got a support system inside the house. They are BOTH bitchy and they BOTH deserve to be called out on it.

I do agree..Mikkayla is not exactly an innocent victim.

She is not at work, what you are pulling to win an argument is just as invalid, and personal.
And your talking of insults and arguments, not bullying.
Disagreements and insults are going to happen in a large group, that is all that is happening here.

If someone makes fun of the way I eat for ex., I wouldn't feel bad. Just because someone makes fun of me, it means I am that person. I can't please everyone, so those people will not be my friends. I have the choice of reacting or not reacting to someone making fun of me.

Bullying for me, mean that a person is harassing another person.

And i concede that perhaps bullying may not be the correct term to use.
Her behaviour is vile, disgusting, scummy, feral and just shows her to be a scum bag.
I dont think her intention was for her and Mikayla to have a laugh and joke about it.

They are at work.
They are under contract to provide a service to the producers and are being paid for that service. They are working for the people making the tv show.
