Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I think Ed would save Tahan and put Drew up. He might save Jade, but even if he doesn't she'll still go after him (so wish she'd stop doing that!!), therefore, he wouldn't lose anything by keeping her up. Ed hasn't shown her any loyalty up to this point, and I don't think he'll start doing it now.
I'd like Tim to win and save her, then take her to the pres suite!! If Jade doesn't win or get saved, I'd like to think she'll be safe anyway, and fingers crossed Tully (or Tahan) go this week.

Guys, I don't think Ed cares about 'prince charming' now...he's let it all go and is trying to be antagonising so I don't think he's going to care about saving Jade.
He needs to take down Tim and Ben and I think he will angle with Tahan to do that.

Well, if Jade isn't saved I will be voting like crazy to save her. Sorceress is right - in a way I hope that Ed wins and doesn't save her (but I don't want him to save Tully that's for sure). Jade will be upset and Tim will be there to console her lol. She needs to see his true colours.

Latest update from the OS:

“There’s so much more to you, Jade, then when I first met you,” Tim says out of the blue. “I see you through different eyes.” Jade is taken aback, but pleased by his comment.

Looks like Timmy's making his move! Yay Tim, get her away from Ed!

Sounds like Timmy may also be trying to round up some more save votes for her. Not that I think he needs to...

If she is saved, that will be great. It means we can save more money for the next evictions. But even if she isn't, we need to make sure our girl gets many votes.

Can I just ask, what the Hell happened in the last scene of the Late Night Feast? Drew is brooding alone in the bathroom, when Jade walks in, takes him by the hand and says 'Come on, chicken,' really sweetly, like back in their married days. 'Come sleep with me.' He goes with her, and she starts towards her bed, He goes straight to Tully's bed, but... was Jade actually expecting him to come with her? She got to her bed and perched herself upon it , looking down at him, with her .

Man, it would be a cooll way to get to Ed... Maybe once Tully is gone.

There is still a soft spot for Drade inside. Once Tully and Ed are gone, I want to see them have the chat. Debrief. Laugh it off. Why am I invested in this?
But anyway, back to my original point. W.T.F?(in the parlance of our times). Was Jade trying to say it with chicken? Did she mean come back to the bedroom, or did she mean the words that she actually said? Come back to my bed and I will make it all okay. Come sleep with me.

Wow.

Some people are complaining about the repeatedness of the last two nights - but it seems to me it has been a conscious choice - dribble info about a fight all weekend; show the aftermath, everyone tip-toeing and feeling tender and apologising etc... Then on Monday show a lot more, then tonight, re-contextualize it all with the fullest story.

Maybe Channel 9 had a plan all along - and it is not just about ratings, but to give us the ultimate BB experience, by making us wait that extra day for contact, it builds the drama.

Woulda been cool if Drew went to bed with Jade, but. Imagine Ed calling him out< Ugh.

Anyway, Jade, I see a really touching scene for you before this is all done. Hope you are ready for your close-up.

I would have love to see the conversation between them before hand, something is missing.

Yes! I like this friendship, I think it has final two written all over it!

Would love for Tim to win and SAVE JADEY!

YES YES and YES!! :D

I still have my soft spot for Drade too. I don't know why, when I am appalled by the characteristics Drew is now displaying, but someplace deep inside I long for the moment of reconnection between he and Jade.

I saw the whole 'Come with me, chicken' thing as her trying to comfort him and rebuild on the friendship. I don't think she would have put the moves on him or anything, but just to find that comfort in one another again. I wish he had gone with her so we could see Mr Ed's reaction too. but of course, the well-whipped Drew returned to his Mistress for some more emotional spanking.

Ahh, a true romantic.. you and I must have been smoking from the same pipe. I have watched this about three times just to clarify the 'chicken' in my mind. And I was right, I saw what I saw. It was as if scripted.. boy waits for girl, girl appears and gives him the sign, together they repair to their bedroom... and then everything goes terribly wrong.
I wish I could share your optimism about Channel 9's ability to create such a romantic scenario with the perfect ending. The more likely explanation is that Jade and Drew have forgotten how to communicate. :(

I remember hearing or reading somewhere that Jade offered her bed to Drew because of the Tully drama, thinking he may want a break from her to cool off. He must have agreed at some point for Jade to say 'come on, chicken. come sleep with me' because he responded 'yep' but then just walked straight to his usual bed.

Jade was probably like....'uh...you coming? Gonna stay over there? yes, no? hellooo?'

i think tully would have lost her mind if he went over to jade's bed. shows how oblivious jade is to how full on the drully relationship is.

I remember reading that too.. and the fact he's sitting there waiting for her to come out of the toilet I'd say he's spoken to her about Tully not trusting him and the drama they were having and had agreed to sleep in Jade's bed. Until he actually got into the room and thought nah, it's not worth the drama it'd cause.
