I enjoyed tonight's episode. There was too much talent-show in the middle but I still found it immensely enjoyable. Repeating the same format is a little grating but I don't really mind. I know it's all contrived, but I enjoy seeing everyone get drunk; people are more honest and forthcoming. I wish there could be an old-style Uncut show as well that just covered the more 'mature' content from each week but I'll take what I can get tbh.
I'm not really a fan of the Sugar Sisters but I found Lucy so much fun tonight. More than happy to see them stay now (although I wish Katie would show some personality at some point!).
I completely understand Ed's position from a personal standpoint but he really should've grown a backbone and just told Jade he wasn't game from the beginning. There is no way you can string a girl along in the BB house expecting that you'll just make out on Friday nights when everyone's been drinking and not look like a complete dbag. You should have been either all in or just folded at the start, Ed and now it's almost certainly gonna be your downfall.
Tim was gold as always. Can you imagine the house without him?
Not really related to tonight but I'm not sure what Matt adds anymore. Who does he even like in the house other than Ed? Tahan? Is that it? Evict now please.
And finally the Drully saga. What I liked about tonight's footage is that there is no longer any escaping Tully's mindset about what's going on. For a while I wasn't sure whether she was deluded that her behaviour with Drew was acceptable when she had a GF or if she was just keeping up the charade because they can't address the issue while she's in the house. I'm sure her eviction will be brutal, and I'm sure she'll cry hysterically when she finds out Tahlia dumped her. But she's full on gawn for Drew and she wants him to tell her the same even though she knows he can't. The deliberate (although ridiculous) attempts at hiding their kissing, the questions about Drew's ex, the repeated 'I have nothing to be stressed about now'... it was all pretty telling.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's just a BB house thing with Drew and when she gets out she regrets it all but at least now I'm 100% convinced that Tully knows that what she's doing is inappropriate and is just trying to keep all possibilities open to her when she leaves the house.
