Ok fair enough, and I apologise that we're arguing a similar point lol. But I don't think 'not being able to help themselves' is an excuse at all, and I felt like that's what you were saying. Them not being able to help themselves points to greater issues, IMO, and either way, they're both liable for their behaviour and deserve the consequences of it. It's some romantic story, it's a pathetic one.
Yeah I should be more clear. No, I don't think it's acceptable behavior in normal society, and if I could show them what they were doing, or if they recognized why it's wrong, or if Tully had the all-clear to pursue the man she's fallen for, that would be awesome and the world would be right again. But this isn't a normal environment, and that's not going to happen. So my main point I guess is that they're going to keep going, right or wrong, aware or not, until something breaks the situation.
