Ed to Go next?

I don't see why the hatred for Ed, its like he killed someone or something. Ed could have been much worst with the Jade situation. Jade got some emotional issues that has nothing to do with Ed. Jade would scare most guys who are not looking for a quicky away due to her low self esteem, and using her sexuality to cling to a guy. I've seen these types of people, and it not healthy at all. I knew a girl who was like this, and try to commit suicide to get the guy to stay. He ended up wasting years with someone he did not love because he feared she would kill herself.

I do agree with Ed needing a backbone, but I think its more of him using the whole nice guy thing to make it to the end. I'm sure outside of the game, he may be more of a risk taker or what not. Also showmance tend to ruin a person's game, and this is what his family may have warned him about. Add that to an emotionally unstable Jade who would end up being devastated if Ed agree to a romance, but did not intend for it to last. To be fair though, once the girls started labeling him as Prince Charming, he probably thought why not use that to get to the end. Unfortunately, he is finding out that it is hard with someone as clingy, and emotional wreck as Jade. That will also explain why he is scared to tell her up front he doesn't like her. Jade is so emotionally messed up, that it would probably cause her to have a break down, and he would end up looking like the bad guy.

The role of Mr. Nice guy has put Ed in a position where he cannot be himself, and that is not winning him fans. But looking at BBUK, Ed would have fair very well there since nice people tend to make it far (Sophie and Sam). There are those who hate him for being against Tim, but that only means he is playing the game, though a boring one. Lets be honest it is the Tim Show, and for some if anyone goes against Tim, then they are seen as some sort of villain when in actuality it only means that others are willing to play the game, and are able to see that Tim is a threat to their game. Anyone playing the game will see that Tim is a threat. Just because Tim is beloved doesn't mean that everyone else have to sit there, and let Tim be the only one playing the game.

I personally enjoy watching Tim, but I do realize how it must suck to be in the house playing second fiddle to someone like Tim who can get away with almost anything, and come out looking good. I agree, Ed is boring, but I would love for him to stay longer, and see if he will eventually crack. I like Caleb also, though he is also a bore, but unfortunately I would prefer for him to leave rather than Ed. I want to see if Ed can keep up this role or whether he can come out of his shell, and be his real self even if he doesn't make it far. I personally felt that Heidi, the twins, need to leave more than anyone else in the house before someone like Tully, Caleb, Matt, and Ed need to go.

He's not a nice guy, he's a typical bloke, thinks with his dick. I would see drew as more of a nice guy even though he's more like a door mat lol

Ed may be a typical block, and he may not be a nice guy, but he isn't the villain either. Drew is looking more like BB15 McCrae. Once McCrae hooked up with that nasty Amanda, he is now a shell of his former self. The life in him is gone, and his game is now ruined. This can happen to Drew if he continues to go for Tully, and Jade.

I think there is more to Ed than he is letting on. I want to see him stay to see if he cracks because if he isn't Mr. Nice Guy, he wont be able to keep this up for too long. The Jade thing does not make him a bad guy, but more of not having a backbone. There are some people who have a hard time telling someone something that they see would hurt them, though it is the right thing to do. When Ed drinks he can't seem to control himself with Jade. Then ends up looking like fool. I don't think Ed is a bad guy, he is not perfect, but he is not bad. I hope Tahan can talk straight with him, and tell him to drop the act, and be himself if its not who he is.

The perfect guy for me would look like Ed, have Drew's eyes, with a good personality. Someone with a sense of humor, and knows how to have a good time, without being in the extreme of Tim. Tim is entertaining, but his personality would be too much outside of the house. I don't really like Matt nor hate him. I just don't find anything attractive about him. Caleb seems like a decent, but boring block. I do like his sense of humor, and I like him more than Matt. Ben is interesting, in a weird way. You kind of feel sorry for him more than anything.

Yeah I see what you mean about McRae and drew Melody and the similarities in their situations but drew is way hotter then McRae lol! Never said ed was a villain I just don't think he's the nice guy that BB is attempting to portray him as. iMO a "nice" guy opens doors, is romantic and will stand by his word ie if he tells a woman he is not interested in her he will not lead her on after a few drinks and pash her anyway knowing that the woman is in to him. Thats what i mean when i say Ed is just a typical bloke nothing special at all, if he was special he'd be actively demonstrating it which he's not. But totally agree on your last paragraph lol!

Ed is very nice in his dealings with Mr Clooney, that has warmed me to him a bit. But he's mainly just good looking, which is not an especially interesting characteristic in a person.

Yes, Drew is in a different level than McCrae aka McPizzaboy in terms of looks, and personality; but he still needs to play smart because shomance may destroy his game (chance of winning). Jade though emotionally weak may just be a black widow in the making, meaning all men who have something with her may end up being evicted because people feel sorry for her if her heart is broken. If Ed leaves, then Drew better keep the hell away from Jade, and Tully. We'll see how this plays out on Monday.

The negative thing about this season is that Tahan not being single, and how it would have brought a different dimension to this game. I would have wish to know if things would have play out differently for these good looking single guys, and how this would have affected someone like Jade and Tully who were fighting for all the attention of these guys in the house. It would have been a headache for sure from all the drama.

Sorry but he adds absolutely nothing to the house, he's only less boring than Caleb but he has jade to thank for that.
He doesn't deserve to be there over any you mentioned.

Just randomly, is anyone else just NOT attracted to any of the guys except Drew?? Like, they're really not my type???

I don't understand the Ed swooning with lack of Drew swooning. Although, they do swoon over his eyes.

That'd be me! I'm def in the same boat as you on that one. I don't get the appeal with the other guys. However Tim's cheekiness has won me over so if we were talking about personality I do find something appealing about Tim, haha. He's an interesting one.

Ed has a beautiful body, I say that 100% not into guys....perfectly sculpted and easy to look at.
He doesn't have that body, he never makes the show.

Yeah he does have a nice body. Others like Matt & Caleb are a little too sculpted for my liking. Even though Ed's body is nice I feel like I still prefer Drew's. I've never really seen muscle men as attractive. Less muscly guys are better to snuggle with :)

I am not attracted to Drew either. He needs to wash his hair more. Sad but true.

I was most attracted to Xavier.

I was most attracted to Xavier.

I watch early episodes and I'm like EWWW Drew wash your hair pleaseee. It seems he does lately because it looks cleaner. He has also tanned up a bit so that makes him even better lol

Xavier was alright for sure. In my eyes, more attractive than matt and maybe caleb

Watching Ed just going 'yep yep yep' to everything Heidi said in a recent clip pretty much summed up my opinion of his vacant personality.

Yes, yes and yes at this! :)

It's interesting to me after reading on these forums the Ed, Caleb and Matt seem to evoke the same sorts of feelings or views. The 'nice but boring'/'adds nothing to the house/'looks good but nothing else' kind of thing. If that's the general feeling across the broad, I wonder why the casting would choose 3 cardboard cut outs of the same personality to go in? Surely there was much more variety in the auditions then that.
