Drade - Still A Better Love Story Than Twilight

I know what you mean and I hate that he's doing it because Jade has never done that to him and would rather put Ed up for eviction than Drew. Seeing Drew say otherwise and say that he'd put Jade up instead of Tully and add to that all the go's that he's been having at Jade and I am through with him. But it's sad cause what mainly got me into the show was Drade and their ongoing friendship was nice to watch. Take Drew out of Drade and you're left with Jade and I will continue to support her because Drew's done too many wrongs in my eyes.

I still like Drew, I'm not going to hold his friendship with Tully against him. We have seen who Drew is and yes, his friendship with Tully is borderline inappropriate, but when I put myself in their shoes, i'd want someone to cuddle up too aswell. Jade used to (and still does sometimes) cuddle up with him but her feelings for Ed are growing so she gravitates towards him.
If Tully and Drew share a kiss that isn't a dare, then i'll have a problem.
Edit: also, Tully's negative attitude is effecting him and his actions day-to-day are changing. She needs to leave PRONTO.

I don't think he's being mean necessarily, i just think the house is getting to him the way it gets to everyone.

This sounds like a wise move. Maybe in a few days one of your theories will be proved true... I hope we all will hear of it.I have multiple theories on this, I am struggling to figure out if any of them are actually correct though.
Suffice to say, Drew is not the man I thought he was. Regardless of the 'why'... his behaviour does NOT become him. Therefore I will not waste any more energy on extrapolating and throw myself into JADE SUPPORTING instead
If the suspicion I have had for some time now comes true, I'll announce that event with great fanfare.

I'm trying so hard to still like Drew. But I saw the video of him massaging Tully's butt and I don't know. I don't like hearing him talk bad about Jade. I don't like him listening to the dark cloud. He heard the boos ... if he was smart he'd stay away from her. Is it just because he NEEDS to have a girl to cuddle with? And then he just puts up with anything they throw at him to get those cuddles? I miss old Drew. I don't dislike him yet, but I'm disappointed.

One thing that impressed me about Jade was that she took the time, as Drew's friend, to talk to him directly about his friendship with Tully and how others were reacting to it in the house. She obviously cares about him and wanted him to be aware of the negative impact it was having.
In comparison, I'm very disappointed that Drew hasn't taken the time to pull Jade aside privately and have a word with her about how her behaviour with Ed is making people in the house perceive her as a "snake" and someone with no self respect. Instead, he's privy to conversations others are having about her and even joining in.
She seems to value the friendship and be true to it, far more than Drew does. It's very disappointing.

To be fair candy I think that move was a little bit self-serving on jade's part. I don't think it's just the other hms who are irked by drew spending so much time with tully, jade also resents losing one of her pets to tully.

Exactly - she considered Drew her territory and expected him to keep hanging around even when she chased Ed. Have fun with Ed, Jade!

of course she is upset. She's not even allowed to talk to drew without tully cracking the shits and demanding to know what's going on...it's obvious and of course she can sense the tension. But jade talked to drew once....tully sidled up to him at every opportunity to tell him how it would look to other people, over and over and over...until she got him. And honestly the tully business is far worse and pathetic than the jade business.

Agreed Jo. The Dark Cloud killed DRADE and is surely killing this board!!! Be that as it may, Dark Cloud is constantly telling him what to do, what to say, blah blah blah... AND I will add to your comment by reminding folks about the convo the Meatheads had about the Italian dinner, where matt said he saw what was going on under the table. THAT WAS FREAKING NASTY for them the be doing that at the table. No Morals. I really did for one time agree with Matt.
I'm starting to think the Drew we're seeing now is the real one. He has said in the Diary Room a few times that he felt out of place and uneasy when he first entered the house because of the fake marriage and entering after the other HMs. Now that he's comfortable he's showing his true colours. He clung to Jade when they first entered, partly out of necessity to keep up the ruse and because she was his life preserver. Now he doesn't need her any more and he's taken to bitching about her, not giving her a heads up re what the other HMs are saying or Tim's plan for her, etc. We can keep making excuses for him and blaming it 100% on Tully but a person can't be controlled unless they allow themselves to be. He's jumped in to the Tully thing feet first and from all accounts is loving it.

Absolutely, there could have been some self serving motivation going on on Jades part, but I don't believe this was her only intention for telling him. I think Jade does have definate genuine feelings of friendship towards Drew. But I do see your point.

When she stormed into the bedroom immediately announcing.... Drew and Jade are out there all cuddled up or words to that effect. Why Why Why did Tim not say back to her..... " AND ???? Whats your problem ??? A single man and single woman who are best friends are having a moment. Why is a lesbian in a relationship having any issue with this " THATS what should have been said to her..... instead Tim says..... " I know... I don't know why he does that " !!!!!!! insinuating that its WRONG for Jade and Drew to be having a close moment. He just plays whoever happens to be in the room with him at the time and fans the flames accordingly.

Nicely put, my thoughts exactly. But if the Drew that we saw at the very start of the show was not him at all I am just crushed
I'm kind of lost as to who to support now besides Jade. I loved Drade so much and wanted both to go far.

I agree..... I do wonder if his few times at having a dig at her or joining in with the others could be because inside there is that feeling of rejection in a way, that he did and does really like her, but she continues to pursue Ed. She does still come to him for hugs but how do you reciprocate how you want to when you know five minutes later you will look like a mug when she crawls all over Ed again.
