Oh, that is Jade's own doing. Drew had sparkly eyes for Jade since they were married. He didn't look at her - he gazed. But she dropped him like a bomb then just kept him on the side incase Ed didn't work out. Even after that he was still nice to her no matter what she did to him. But I'm glad he's finally not taking it anymore. I imagine Jade would save Ed over Drew and is being a hypocrite again.

When this show is over Jade is going to realize Drew was the only one who was there for her, and she ruined it with him. Ed isn't so good to her behind her back - or even to her face sometimes. Other people aren't either. Drew doesn't have to stand on the side lines forever for her as she chases somebody else and teases him.

Drew is talking about Jade behind her back. the only time she said anything about him was to Tim and she said she would talk to Drew about it which she duly did because she was concerned about him. Jade has always said they were just friends and I believe she did think they were friends, is that wrong? So she didn't fall for him like he did for her, that happens in life. Doesn't mean he should throw their friendship back in her face.

Before she heard he would have saved Tully she would never have saved Ed over Drew because she never spoke about Ed being her friend, and she never mentioned him as someone she would never nominate but she did Drew.

Now all bets are off and I feel sure Drew will up for eviction next week.

Great post! Maybe it's wishful thinking on my behalf, but I'm hoping that it's the usual biased updates on the OS that make it sound worse than what it is. Time will tell I guess. I like to think that Drew and Jade share genuine friendship, even if nothing else.
 
they did have fun workout in the gym yesterday when she asked him about her bum and he said it was perfect plus they had that chat/cuddle on the lounger, where Tully saw and seemed upset. hehe
 
I think they would get closer again when Tully leaves but probably only friendship, as she still so keen on Ed.
Maybe if she spent more time with Drew and said she realised she went after the wrong guy, and Drew was really the one for her after all.....just like in the movies lol
 
I think Drew and Jade have more of a chance on the outside (If they keep in touch). However, If Tully does leave this week I think they will go back to how they used to be.

I also just realised that besides the sticky threads, this thread has the most replies out of any. woohoo! We Drade peeps are a passionate bunch!

Looking at the still shot of housemates in the garden as Tim is in the hot seat once again Drew and Tully glued together as Jade has now become a triplet to the sugar sisters. If those girls were not in the house Jade would have no close friends to hang with and would end up having occasional chats with Tahan and Mikkayla. How did it get to this that two people who were so close are separated by the influence of a whining stroppy pain in the neck. When and I am praying its when Tully goes next it will be interesting to see if jade and Drew can become as close again or has too much happened for it to be the same.
 
you know if she doesn't go she will actually become even more unbearable (I know hard to believe it's possible)! I wish they could re-find the friendship they had until the last few days because they will soon find how hard life can be in there if you have no friends. It's ok Drew trying with other people now but they already see his & Sulky's relationship as bad and they have already forged their own alliances making him an outsider just like Jade really
 
As I am reading these insightful posts I get the feeling that the positive vibe has somewhat subdued. I weep with you yet... the facts are right in front of us.

Sulky parachutes into Drew's brain guns blazing without as much as an 'Excuse me, may I enter' (the audacity)... Drew, on the floor - wincing, regains his footing and builds up a defense and then... he's just being a complete wimp.

Looooser!!

What the hell is wrong with him??? As someone further up the thread observed 'he's gotta get his nuts out of her hands' - yes, this is about the size of it.
But why doesn't he?

And I don't want to hear platitudes such as - oh, maybe he loves Tully more than he loves Jade - oh, maybe he secretly is in love with her - oh, maybe... give me a break.

I want answers. I have my theories. Why is everybody afraid to speak the truth?

Negativity mixed in with Jealousy is a dangerous concoction indeed. Negativity is STRONG and kills all things happy and free.
It was a germ between DRADE, grew into a virus, and has now become a fatal disease. No rays of sun can be seen under the realm of the DARK CLOUD. I fear, all hope is lost.

Yes, he is now. Now that he's finally putting his foot down with her. Of course there is nothing wrong with her only wanting to be friends with him. The problem is her saying that, then lying on top of him, then saying he's only like a brother, then going after Ed, then coming back to Drew, then making out with Ed, then straddling Drew's lap, then trying to get into bed with Ed, then asking Drew to date on the outside, and going back with Ed, etc.

Enough is enough. I'd have had it with her a loooooong time ago. If she wanted to be only friends then she should keep it at that. But what he wants is to dangle Drew on the side.

If Ed recipricated her feelings she'd be all on the Ed train.

Drew is still a moron though. Tully is a black hole of darkness that only brings Drew misery and makes him look bad. Jade made him look pathetic, but it wasn't as bad as how he looks now. However I'm glad he put his foot down with Jade and he needs to do it with Tully, too. He was the most likable guy on the show and not so much anymore. If Jade never went for Ed time and again and agan this whole thing would have been so different. And Drew and Jade would have been really liked.

My thoughts exactly. Slowly but surely Drew has been fading in my eyes and I've held on hope for too long that he would change. But it takes two to tango and I can't just say that it's Tully's fault anymore as much as she has influenced him. I hate it to say but I'm kind of starting to dislike them both, and that means Drew included. I've honestly missed heaps of BB episodes this week cause Tully and Drew is blegh and does not appeal to me and consumes the show. It's not interesting to me at all. Drew and Jade had potential, Drully I just don't understand and the way that Drew completely turned his back on his friendship with Jade as soon as Tully batted an eyelash makes him so much less appealing than what I thought he'd be originally. Through losing interest in him I have to rethink who my fave housemates are. Drew is not up there anymore.

Yes but let's say I hang out with car thieves (to use a random example). I may not be a car thief myself but people will judge me as either having dodgy morals (because I have thieves as friends) or being really stupid (because I have thieves as friends). Lovely as Drew may be, those he surrounds himself with will be a base of judgement on his character. We may think he is just like Tully, or (as is my case) we may think him a fool.

how can we not question him as a person when he prefers the company of tully over basically the whole house?

edit: yes he seems like a nice person, but over the last week, his relationship with tully has highlighted his obvious weakness for anything that gives him a second glance. and i'm not impressed with the way he is letting tully sway him whichever way she pleases. gosh, watching her pick fights with him over nothing just for attention is pathetic.

But no. You have seen Drew. You have seen how he acts. What you liked before is still there.

With the car thief: if people knew you and you were a friend, if just because you have thieves as friends they dump you, than they are not real friends
