Anyone Else Think Tim Could Go?

Not a chance.

He's pretty much guaranteed his safety until the show ends. He's a self proclaimed narcissist and this is just cementing his position as the main character of the show. By putting himself up for eviction, he's found a way to make things all about him. He's also giving himself power in the eyes of the other housemates - if he doesn't care about being nominated, what power do they have against him? Very few of them bother to go against him anymore. He's given himself the power to do whatever he likes in there with minimal repercussions - he can wind them up all he likes and they still will be hesitant to nominate him. He knows how to work the public and he knows they are on his side too.

Nominating himself is just a way of stating it to the other housemates. "I am not scared of eviction, I know I will survive. Go ahead: nominate me and throw that vote away." Will anybody be willing to bother nominating him after this ever again? He's given himself power inside the house and power outside the house.

He knows how to play this game and I just love it.
very well put!

No. Look at Facebook. If it weren't for the fact that people will be splitting their save votes in an attempt to evict Tully, I think Tim would receive a mammoth proportion of the vote. Of the posts that aren't attacking Tully, 90 percent are pro Tim.

I echo these sentiments.
So lets grab a coffee and wax lyrical all night ... (*squeeeee*) :)

In all the seasons of watching, out of all the tryhards who want to "play the game", or "shake things up", or "challenge Big Brother", out of all the amateur strategists ... Tim is nailing it.

He went IN with a plan of divide and conquer.
Isolate the weak links and exploit them in order to survive week to week.

His nominations are tactical and with a greater purpose in mind.
He's trying his best NOT to show it, but he is constantly scheming to facilitate nomination outcomes.

Three key things I've noticed that show me how astute he's playing this series : (a) when he let slip his strategy regarding Drew while bemoaning his time spent with girls. He said "Maybe that's how I beat him .... (Other HM : "What ?") ... Oh nothing."

(b) Identifying Caleb in nominations as a 'sheep' who's dependant on group harmony to ensure his safety as a HM.

(c) Identifying with Drew in the Presidential Suite, that the secret to bringing down Ed was to encourage a relationship with Jade.

All of that ... just a f*cking masterful display of how to concoct the game to work your way, while oblivious others are there "for the experience", etc, etc

Oh ... I forgot one more thing (I've edited this to include it) ... the Rocks !!! Hahahaha. I'd be willing to bet he's actually not doing anything with them, other than trying to mess with minds getting the others to watch him and comment "look at him / what's he up to? / He's been there for almost an hour !".

It will be anyone BUT Tim I think. I'm unsure though, I'm in the UK so don't have much to go on until I found this forum :p I just think that maybe Ed and Caleb won't be as popular as we think, and in a close eviction like this it could be anyone. I'm inclined to say it will be one of the girls though, fingers crossed Tully because I intensely dislike her and Tahan is my favourite, although with Tully promising the 'mutiny' against Tim if she stays I kind of hope she stays! She's the only one of the 6 I dislike though, Tim is one of my favourites and Ed and Caleb are hot and nice guys.

Not to mention when he walked into the bedroom the other night and said to Tully " Oh your rock broke! What could that mean?" This is perfect seed planting to make such a depressed, emotional person even more convinced she is gone this week!

I've just voted 6 times for him - the only time I've voted this season. TBH I can't remember if I've ever voted watching BB. Will also send some votes to Mik and Tahan.

Tim's the only one who's really safe.

Tahan - Could go because of the invisible edit and voter fatigue, or she could have enough of a fanbase and benefit from an anti-Tully vote.

Ed - Untested. We don't know if he has a huge fanbase out there, or if most people agree that he's a plank of wood. It could go either way with him, but I suspect he'll be safe. May be pleasantly surprised.

Caleb - Also untested, but probably has a few fans of his own, plus he might have Katie and Lucy fans behind him as well. I haven't been checking Facebook and Twitter, does anyone know if they're rallying behind him and/or Jade?

Jade - Could be in danger, or the airtime she has been getting could be helping her, plus she may have some Katie and Lucy fans behind her. She's coming across as quite a nice person, just hurt by her desperation for a guy. I think people are warming to her?

Tully - I don't know. I haven't been on Facebook, how big is her fanbase? People are saying the airtime will save her, but not if there aren't many people liking her as well. Also, are many of her fans saying it might be better for her own sake to be out of the house? That could translate into not voting.

Tim is safe as houses.

He's my favourite and I would have said that too but he got a very bad edit tonight. Plotting to get rid of other housemates. He obviously already thinks he's won it and just thinking would you really want to dig deep to save someone who is up voluntarily.

What's wrong with plotting - it is a game - wish we had seen more of his "strategizing" with Drew in the PS - this is what makes it fun.

Completely agree - Plus I bet he'll be loudly cheered on eviction night & they will all hear it just like Tully heard the boos, so they'll figure it's a waste of time to nominate him 'cause he won't go.

Pretty much agree. I do think Tully could be safe and my tip would be Caleb to go as I think he's in his own little head to head battle with Ed for votes and can only see one winner there. Jade picked up a really high proportion of the votes (22% IIRC) last time out when we thought she'd be in danger so she might be safe - probably more safe than Tahan due to airtime.

If Tully does go regardless of where Tim comes in the poll I really hope they leave it to Tim v Tully for the final two.

Exactly the only thing people supposedly fear is being putting up for eviction. I'm sure people will still nominate him but the power of that threat is completely wiped. I don't know if he thinks he will win so much as he knows he can be around for a while and have fun. Good on him for providing actual entertainment.

Yeah the rocks is brilliant ... How to make people feel more insecure and question themselves and their safety. He's a smart smart boy. And funny and has a great cheeky smile. I would like him to win. If he does nothing for the rest of the show I think he has already provided the best entertainment

Tim is absolutely safe this week but I do think his game playing could completely blow up in his face in weeks to come....I hope not but then again it seems he's just in it to play the BB game and not focusing on the end game of the big cash prize....as no matter what happens though...he will be remembered...

"Pot-stirring" doesn't do it justice.
It's calculated placement of hand grenades.

And the persona he hides it under is the perfect foil. - Think the ice-creams with (a) the laughter in the diary room as he mentally pictures the fallout, (b) the performance/confession that come after "Think of it this way Tehan, you were doing a nice thing for ME !"

I'm amazed with the birthday lies he avoided nominations ... someone else identified it in this forum, he's got them all second guessing whether their 'points for Tim' are as useful as another potential evictee.

When the rocks were mentioned, remember Matt's reaction he wanted to know about them etc.

Tim was pushing Tully's buttons, when he said hers split in two. lol

And then innocently saying, what does that mean.

He also let them know (in a roundabout way) that Tully can't be trusted with 'secrets' as she was the only one he told.

Anyone Else Think Tim Could Go?

Ummmmmmmm, No!

I think Tim is less likely to go than someone that isn't even nominated! LOL!
