There are no rules....... Game Changer?

So the latest ad has been released and we are set for another game changing week, with the main theme this week being "There are no rules".

After an 80's Eviction show which is in theme for the new 80's show starting after the BB Eviction on Monday Night.

So I am 99.9% sure that a Female will be Evicted this Monday and that will make it an Equal playing field for next week to be Men Vs Women. The ad does clearly hint at it with the Blue and Pink theme.

What do you think ?

I think Jasmin will likely be evicted and Channel nine is indulging in some interesting shaping/suggestion of BB content or that it is an amazing coincidence that Tim opted for 8Os theme for his (very entertaining - to us) birthday...

thats a good possibility, but you could also be trying to throw us completely off course :P

alex told us the other week that the game would be changing in week 5, so its been planned for a while, and BB wouldnt have been able to guarantee it be even male female split at this point...

and i dunno if splitting the house again straight after bringing the wall down is a great idea...
hmmmmmmm... all very interesting.

i hate how the ad says there are no rules.
there are.
its got em on their damn website, and HMs get a whole handbook of em!
Big Brother Rules

The Commandments according to Big Brother are:
• No contact with the outside world (broken)
• Nominations are compulsory
• Nominations cannot be discussed with other Housemates (broken)
• Housemates can only ever talk with Big Brother in the Diary Room (what? broken)
• Housemates may not communicate in code and/or foreign or sign languages (broken)
• Housemates must never act violently
• Housemates must never bully anyone because of their sexuality or gender (broken)
• Housemates must not knowingly defame or vilify any individual or group
• All sexual attention must be invited and consent be mutual & informed
• All tasks are compulsory
• Housemates cannot discuss former series or what they will do if they win (broken)
• Housemates must always obey Big Brother (broken)

The 13th Commandment (unlucky for some) is that Big Brother reserves the right to change the rules at any time ensuring that this share-house is anything but predictable!

if anything they should be pushing the 13th commandment.

oh and friday 13th coming up in 3 weeks! they better have something planned with the whole "13 unlucky for some" lines.

edit: just realised how bad these commandments are, over half of them have been broken, maybe is just better off saying there are none :P hahaha

I think it means that as part of the next task Big Brother will be going "away" type of thing, in the sense that all "rules" become void for a few days. Not that I can even think of how this will change much anyway. It's not like the HM's are going to go and start violently bashing each other or anything now that they can lol. The only major significant rule I can think of is the nominations one, and that's kinda already been half broken hundreds of times. But it'll be interesting to see how this unfolds.

Not a fan of the whole 80s theme solely to tie in with cross-promotion for Channel 9 though. That is appalling.

Plus, the whole blue/pink thing will only be the colours they chose for the promo to suit the 80s vibe - I doubt there's much hidden meaning behind that.

if they're going for an 80s theme they should really go for it for the night - always thought it be interesting to think what BB might have looked like had it been around a couple of decades earlier.

And hopefully voting will be by fax.

This. So much.

It more that likely won't happen, but I gotta admit how freakin' cool it'd be if they really went all out and elaborate with the theme. Everything from the stage and the screens to Sonia's style on the night too. Ah well. :p

Could the pink/blue thing be similar to the red/blue task from last year where the housemates split into teams and have to compete for certain parts of the house?

That's what i was think bu you beat me to it. Well we all know that the task was never completed last year and the out come was going to effect nominations. So it would be understandable if they brought it back.

I hope not. It's too similar to the halfway house/safe house type of thing.

BB going on vacation for a few days could be interesting, especially considering Tim would probably go nuts.

That sound's like a much better plan to me. BB on vacation FTW!

They did do the BB holiday thing once before yeah? Was it last year or in 2007, I think?

Really? Damn, if I can't remember it then it must have been crap and forgettable. Still think it could work well this time though with Tim in the house.

Last year. But it was only for like half a day. I remember thinking that it could have been GOLD if prolonged over at least a full day or even 2 days. Hopefully it is executed more successfully this time.
