Housemate #2 - Tahan

Her sooking is even less convincing than my toddler's crocodile tears, so hilarious to watch. Why she is trying to be a sooky damsel-in-distress, I cannot fathom. No-one votes for that.

She annoyed the hell out of me the first episode, but by Tuesday she was okay. Last night made me like her even more.

As long as she doesn't overly play up her 'dumb girl act', I'll like her.

I don't understand how someone so pretty could carry themselves so DISASTEROUSLY. Every time she opens her mouth I mumble an apology to my ears.

Give her a chance.

She has had her make up and clothes taken. Being female I completely understand the obsessive love she has for her own things.

If they took my clothes and makeup, I would have bawled my fucking eyes out.

Let's just wait and see if her best moments outweigh the not so great moments we are seeing right now.

I am still quietly confident she will be a great housemate, she has a cheeky face and I love cheeky.

I also quite like her, sure she's whinged a bit but I think she could have reacted way worse (Brigitte anyone?), I thought she may come in and try the Layla routine but it seems like shes nothing like that.

I hope people give her a chance cause I think she could be a lot of fun. I'd rather see the bland overly nice ones go first. Keep the Tim's and Tahans in please.

Yeah seems there's a lot of laid back chicks here, I'm a tomboy but even I'd freak with that.
She's probably a bit embarrassed too.

I don't think she needs to worry about clothes, lookin like that :p Oh, I am such a guy...Seriously though, losing the toiletries/makeup would annoy me a hellova lot too. Her tears just seemed fake somehow though. I have no doubt she will be a fun and interesting housemate though.

I noticed that too. The producers are as about tactful as Tim. lol
She's clearly overweight but no where near 'obese'.

I see a few issues with what she said.
First is the fact that she actually thinks that way.... Im overweight but certainly dont spill into two seats. She has made us all look bad.

And the fact she actually said it on tv...it smacks of arrogance.

Ah well, she would have alienated people with her attitude

Lots of people think this way. I travel heaps for work and can't stand sitting next to a person who literally can't keep their elbows inside their own arm rests due to their weight. If you can't keep to within your seat boundaries then you should pay for an extra seat. It's not being rude, I don't care if someone is fat I just care if I have an elbow sticking into my ribs an entire flight.

How about the person who has bad BO? Or breath? Perfume?
That all affects someone.
I am overweight and i know i dont spill sidewards.

In Tahan's defense she did say obese and not simply overweight, to me there is a big difference. Overweight is not likely to spill over into another seat, obese would.

I really, really, hated Tahan in the first episode, maybe moreso than I did Tim. But her being honest with Tully, voting during the marriage and just her in general really made me see her in a new light. Anyone else feel the same?

I kinda always liked her, but I liked her even more after tonights episode. Shes not what we were shown for the first week with the whinging and sulking, and not putting on a ditzy act either. I hope shes not evicted this week though, I can see a fair few nominating her...
