Housemate #4 - Ben

Am I the only one that doesn't like the fact that housemates are being revealed prior to launch night? I feel like it is ruining it a bit.

Well, for me, it's because we like guys. Boys. Men who like men.

Guys that are really "feminine" do still appeal to a certain percentage of gays though.

I mean, don't get me wrong, there's a limit - I mean, I myself aren't the manliest of manly guys, but there is such a thing as being too feminine (make-up, etc), and that's the type that just doesn't really interest me personally.

That's my take on it.

It's just we would really like someone that isn't stereotypical.
I suppose with gay guys they want masculinity....cause yknow guys are masculine.
Just like I love my long hair and girly girls:D
 
Some gay guys like feminine/girly guys, others don't... all a matter of personal preference?

And I don't.
 
And I should say that it's because that it perpetuates the gayboys-are-weak stereotype. Some men love that (e.g. ladyboys, when taken to extreme) because they can still be the "man" whilst being with someone else who has a dick but isn't "really" a man, thus preserving their own masculinity. I think that extends into men who prefer girly gay guys.

I think Ben from BBAU last year is much more stereotypically girly than this Ben tho. And by that I mean bitchy/queen type.
