A post on BB's official twitter states that the next housemate will be revealed during the Great Australian Bake Off tonight. He is 41!
 
I wonder what he/ she will bring to the house. Hope they make it interesting. However I can already see a parent figure though.

any body wait that big an age difference is gonna take that role though no matter who, it's human instinct.

Uh, that's very presumptuous, some of us over 40s are far too immature to take on that role! Like it or not, even Gen Ys are adults. They can (and should) take care of themselves.
 
Sounds good to me. I hope none of the older contestants are like Terri or Terrence (I'm pretty sure they were in their 50s though) and I hope there are enough older contestants to prevent any of them from turning into the parent figure - not everybody over 40 wants to be a parent. 41 is not even old, but with the way that people over 40 have been advertised on Big Brother in the past, you'd think they were all plucked from the nursing home.

Being 41 doesn't necessarily mean he'll be different though. This one could be a Hugh Jackmanesque model with his own profile on star now. :p

Terri and Terrence were very old school, fuddy duddies. Terri's thing was that she was a nana., remember? 40somethings are much more in touch and chilled, by and large, than either of them.

How is a group, which in your mind consists of a gay person, a farmer, an Asian and an 18 year old bimbo and a 41 year old man not considered diverse?!
