I'm so dirty.

So I've ripped a frame from the house construction video and paired it up with a similar angle in 2012 for comparison purposes. Obviously things aren't finished in the 2013 photo but I do notice a different paint job on the 2nd story structure (darker green and black).

I think it looks fabulous!

Although in all fairness, as long as I have housemates and video footage, I am pretty much happy.

Thanks for that. I don't think the garden is going to be to different this year (Except for the 2012 retro kitchen area) but the interior is going to change immensely I think. They completely re built it by the looks of the facebook construction photos. Looking forward to seeing the House sneak peek.

I expected the backyard to look the same because you can't change much when there's a giant pool in the middle of the yard! I am praying the interior has vastly changed, keeps things fresh :)

Thanks for that

From the video, here's some pics of the re-construction. Not much revealed, though there is a palm tree in the centre of the pool seating area.

I imagine it's going to stay there, and have a nice painted box put around it (to hide the hideous pot). :)
Really? I would have assumed it was placed there temporarily because it's so big. It seems like an h practical place to keep it. Wouldn't leaves and stuff fall into the pool? Or a shadow be cast over it?

I mean, it'd look nice, but would it be practical?

you want a floor plan, I will give you a blueprint.

So what do you think ??

Just as funny as Alex sketch, lol

Well that is a blueprint not really a floor plan.

You start from scratch.

maybe users can take that and make that into what they think will be the BB house for 2013.

If there was one thing I'd have wished this house would have done is ditched the continuous band of two way mirrors... It is so intrusive in whatever design the house is done in... Bringing back more mounted camera's in the house would be a nice change...

Agreed. BBUK has managed to make the mirrors unobtrusive (particularly in the current season). Also yes to the mounted cams in the house, I like the fact that they're like that in BBUK.

correct. always seems to be so much wasted space in the camera runs when you go for a walk through. And going by the markings on the concrete once again, the same thing will happen again. In the main house building area anyway.

I'm not concerned with the space they take up at all but more the esthetic they bring to the house interior... If anything I think the main house should be made to feel smaller and more contained... It's been years since the house has had 1 larger main living space with 1 or 2 smaller rooms flowing off of it... Sort of like the BBUK houses are designed...

I agree. The house never really feels different it always seems to be the same mirror type and same fluro lighting and same tacky interior. I hope for something dramatically different this year but won't hold my breath. :p
