Oh I do agree he's an odd wee thing, but to dismiss him as an irrelevant never was has been is to say the least surprising!
And I do recall I initially didn't take to him so much at first, but he has so many catchy tunes - if you make me dance I love ya
And I recall when I turned into a real fan - it was watching Purple Rain with a living room full of gay guys and one glamorous bisexual woman, I never saw him the same way again
And I saw him as the Michael Jackson antidote, so camp yet not gay, MJ so gay yet........all that military crappola and "Badness" aint fooling me.

I know - only Sticky said all that, ie that Prince was a 1 or 2 hit wonder/nobody/has been trying to resurrect a dead career - when it was his dead baby that caused a pause.
It was Sticky's original dismissive post that got me spurting, and foaming at the mouth.
And I know each to their own, especially re music tastes...........I learnt a while back to zip my dismissive of other's taste loud mouth in real life.
(After I offended a few people telling them somebody they saw in concert is shit when I was very young and stupidly insensitive)

Anyway, on to something more interesting, Most hated celebs. GOOP wins, that seems a tad mean, I know I hate others more than Gwyneth.
But I sure approve of that list, yucky all, oh and it's just Hollywood so we can't vote for annoying Brits. Who do dislike, how would your order of annoyance look?

Paltrow topped Star magazine’s list of the 20 Most Hated Celebrities in Hollywood. And though she may be one of the more surprising names on the list, it’s likely the gorgeous and perfectly fit 40-year-old mother has earned her fair share of haters.
Predictably, Kristen Stewart followed Patrow on the list. The “Twilight” star obviously made the cut because she admitted to cheating on her heartthrob boyfriend Robert Pattinson with a married man last year.

And while it’s no surprise that Chris Brown was listed as one of the most-hated, he was ranked number 20, with stars like Jesse James and Angelina Jolie being listed farther towards the top of the list. Shocking.
Serial daters Taylor Swift and John Mayer were also said to be most hated.
Others who made the cut: Kim Kardashian, her mom Kris Jenner, Anne Hathaway, Justin Bieber and, of course, Lindsay Lohan.

You are about the most contradictory poster I have ever come across.
You begin your dribble (which apparently caused you to spurt/foam your usual bullshit) at Sticky because he dared to voice he didn't like Prince, you then generalise, put posts in peoples mouths, then faster than a speeding bullet (once called on it) you back pedal and pathetically contradict yourself with your "each to their own, especially re music tastes" beatings. And just when you can't possibly become more obscure, you bring Prince's dead baby into it. It is okay not to like the same artists/actors/whatevers, it is called having an opinion which differs to yours.
I swear to God, if I wasn't having so much fun in Melbourne wining, dining and taking in the brilliant culture of your city, I so would have found the time to find your address so I could shit in your fucking mailbox.

EDIT: I googled. They were both born in 1958. Sharon is five months older than Madonna but looks light years better.

I was thinking the same thing! I think perhaps her hair colour and fairly bland makeup combined, are just making her look a bit 'old' in that pic?

Madonna gets hammered in the press. I think she looks great, she just dresses badly.
I am not actually a fan of over the top cleavage or short skirts once you get past 40. I think a higher neckline balanced with a heavy necklace/scarf looks so much nicer. I think Sharon would have looked so much classier had she raised that neckline which in turn would have given a far nicer frame for that beautiful necklace.
In my opinion, after 40, less skin means so much more.
